the one oil company off site geologist seems to think we do a good job for them or sumthin so we---me and the day d000oo0o-o-000d---keep gettin requested to do our thing on the wells this geologist oversees

s00000oooooo.....I keep getting sent out on jerbs 'cuz this oil company is still drillin wells

the problem is that these wells are all 'wildcat' wells and they have all(all but one) been.....a real PITA to log.....and the drilling companies are wanting to bang them out faster than they should and that leads to....issues

I just hope one of the issues isn't blowing us all and the rig, sky high

this current well is becoming more and more problematic....we done already lost over 1500 bbls of mud down hole and we not even out all the way with the drill string yet

I might end up being here another couple weeks

For one, 3.2 beer still sells. Some people like a lighter brew. More importantly, that particular liquor license is kept around because of what might happen if it isn't. If the alternative is to sell full-strength beer in retail stores, local businesses have given a resounding, "No, thank you." The fear is that selling "real" beer in grocery stores could monopolize the craft beer market and pull revenue away from independent and locally owned liquor stores.

so..not like michigan is a "model" state by any means, but here you can buy just about anything, anytime, and no one gives a **** about craft brewers....why? because if people want craft beer, they'll buy it. where? at the store about 10 or 12 feet down from the budweiser....are they afraid of people having a choice? There's like 50 local breweries up here...most doing plenty well....

as for you local and independent stores...well you just better up your game. Afraid of competition?

sell what you want and let the people decide...it's not that complicated...

Grocery Store/Walmart and such beer cant be higher than 3.2abv. For full strength beer you have to go to one of the many liquor stores. Also, no franchise shops ie Bevmo or Total Wines it's "illegal." I am told it's to keep the beer local.


Edit: It jacks up the price of Domestics. I just want to get drunk on Coors Lite!
