Sort of a catch all since everything has been better than expected.

My roommate started ordering from Hungry Root, a meal delivery service. Everything has been pretty fantastic aside from a scallop dish but I'm just not a big fan of scallops that aren't covered in bacon.

You joined just to post that. Post reported.

I've always been curious about your root though. Hungry Root and the like I mean.

At Costco. Very easy preparation (< 10 min, microwave), very tasty. Sauce is good, beef is good. Whole family approves.

****in sweet pickles. Nowhere on the label does it say they are sweet pickles.

Did I email their customer service line with said feedback? Yep.

Mine were spicy with a hint of dill. I hate sweet pickles and didn’t get sweet at all from these. I do know they have sweet pickles.

Weird. They said dill on the label and I couldn't find the dill.

I love this stuff. I sincerely hope it's not protein spiked (where they misrepresent the protein)...but it's the best tasting yogurt product that delivers high protein. I was using the Oikos Pro or Triple Zero, but they have a characteristic greek yogurt overtone that I don't enjoy (but can look past).

I asked my wife because she likes them and she said they were sweet spicy. Guess different taste buds/palettes….Who knows.

It is what it says it is: yogurt + milk + 7/up or sprite? I loved it.
Weird, but cool.

Interesting, but based on the ingredients list and Amazon reviews, it's just teriyaki sauce with a bit of tomato paste. Being Japanese and I already use most of those ingredients to begin with, I'm going to check the ingredients list on their other unique products and recreate them at home. Thanks!

edit: they just add one additional ingredient to make a different SKU...easy enough!

Picked this up at a Caribbean store, one of the women there suggested it. I hate coconut but damn this was good. Was it because it was stuffed in bread?? I don't know.

Aldi's Sourdough bread.

Best sourdough I've had outside of San Francisco.

I saw this at a gas station and decided to try it, fully expecting to hate it. There was 0 spice to it, unsurprisingly, but also unsurprisingly, it just has a really good citrus flavor.

I had a Mt.Dew Major Melon a couple days ago, tasted like a melted watermelon jolly rancher. Fine for a sip or two, but got too strong real quick.

Also, while not exactly a whim, but I hadn't bought actual steak cuts for quite a while, which *would* have been Ribeye but hell to the no on $20/lb. I grabbed a couple small Eye of Round cuts at $8/lb, turned out fantastic, and I forgot how great of an alternative it is.
