Nice to hear it! I thought it was a gimmick at first but most of the reviews are solid. I'll probably pick one up soon.

I should have ordered last week. They won't have them back in until June due to Coronavirus.

I emailed Tour Striker and they do not sell returns or refurbs. Coronavirus is definitely effing up most of their 2020 if they won't have stock until June.

I put in a bid on a used on on eBay but another one sold yesterday for over $230.

Is that the one with the big sole and the small sweet spot?

No, the Planemate is the belt/bungee cord system that connects to your club. but it's the same manufacturer as the club you are referring to. I asked my instructor about it and he thinks it's worth trying. I know how to swing and my "numbers" looked good in my lesson tonight right off the bat, I just need something to sync my feels.

The few of these belts that pop up on eBay, I just keep getting outbid on and one is about to sell for $300+ The MSRP is $164

One is on Fbook Marketplace for $250. Might do it but I am also trying to keep it cheap.

Do I "need" it? Not entirely, but I think it will help the one area I am stuck on in my swing. I think I have used 3-4 lessons on the same issue with my follow through and lateral weight shift. It's on me to fix it but even when I do figure it out, I forget the feeling of what to do right.

I actually like those. I've always thought they should belt them down to the ground with stakes as well. With different tensions to prevent swaying, reverse pivots, getting to the front foot, etc...

Definitely a 2 person operation.

I would love to rent a golf "mech suit" that shows my body how to swing properly 1000x in a row.

Those are also really good ideas! HAHA!

They definitely have a golf robot they can hook you up to in order to show proper plane.

Every training aid I've ever bought has just ended up in a box in my basement after a while...EXCEPT for my Putt-Out trainer hole, and a couple of driveway marker sticks. I'm too much of a feel player to use the more involved training aids.

I love my putt-out as well. Even non golf types (I can't believe they exist) can't resist playing it with when they are over. It's a lot of fun, but still incredibly challenging to get that perfect roll. The satisfaction when you get the ball to stick is incredible. My 11 year old daughter (the only other person in the house that enjoys golf) plays with it at least 3 times a week. She's getting really good at straight putts ... reading greens is the next step for her, but everyone knows I'm not qualified to teach her that. Hah

News says it's going on as scheduled. Good luck dodging the virus.

The good thing about golf, you can book online, play in a foursome and walk while never touching anything. Not even the flag or ball washer and still be just fine playing out of your bag.

My coworker turned 40 this year. His wife was somehow miraculously able to get him, from a friend of a friend of a friend, tickets to Saturday and Sunday. Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

That ****s getting cancelled, bro.

Bummer, but for the best overall. The more isht that's cancelled now, the better off people are and the sooner things go back to normal. At least in theory.

Getting a new Planemate today. Found one on Facebook Marketplace for $220. "buy it now" listings on eBay were starting at $279 and bidding was going over $300.

It's been raining here most of this week, but going to practice and play Sat/Sun as much as I can since there will be even more rain all of next week.

Going to play tomorrow and Sunday also. Got an email from the county saying courses will be open, can only use credit cards, and spacing times out a little more. To early in the year for the cart girl so a bag full of tall boys it is.

Might check out the Oceanside course south of the base. Pretty cheap and never played there.

Haha I wish. I did meet a member from there over the summer at this high end bar/restaurant down the street from me. Had a Pine Valley shirt and ordered a double of Don Julio 1942. Talked to him for a bit. Said the course is obviously ridiculous and a lot of forced carries on shots makes it difficult. Told him I play a bunch but it did not end in an invite.

Going to play Charleston Springs out in Millstone. Played it a few times in the winter and it stayed in really good shape so I imagine it'll be just fine tomorrow. Good possibility I get out on Due Process this year again which will be nice. Two of my friends caddy there so I get to play with them on a rare occasion.

If you ever want to play let me know. I get out almost every week. Not sure if you are still in the Philadelphia area but we could meet halfway. Maybe an AC area course or I've been wanting to play Scotland Run if that's somewhat near you. Heard that has gotten a lot better.
