Default Restoring faded rear seat back

Back seat is in fantastic condition except for typical fading on the top. Anyone ever tried spray on fabric dye to bring it back to close to the original color? I'm tempted to try but don't want to make it worse.

be careful with dyes, as they will come off on your clothes
