Default Diode Dynamics back up LED's

I'm curious to know if anyone who has the DD XPR back up LED's has had an issue with them falling out . I went to get something out of my trunk the other day and something caught my eye. I have a 2016 WRX and I noticed that both sides were missing their respective lights, they were laying down in the bottom of the lenses. I called DD to see if they had heard of this problem before, they hadn't so I'm left to wonder if the extra weight of the aluminum housing caused it fall out over time. I put them back in again but if this happens again I need to find a way to make them fit tighter in the socket, possibly shim the leads somehow. What say the masses?

I've ran those bulbs before, haven't had any issues with them falling out.
