[RESOLVED] Multifunction wiper switch broken?
On my 2011 WRX I only have one wiper speed. Full blast. The washer nozzles spray when I hit the button, but it doesn't wipe. I have no mist function and the wipers also do not park. I have to time it perfectly so that it kind of looks like they park.
I can go get a multifunction switch from picknpull to rule it out, but from what I have searched, this could be related to the wiper motor or possibly the alternator. My guess is the switch. Any help is greatly appreciated. The only interior mods are aftermarket head unit and accessport.

Good bc that is cheapest ***8216;test' out of your other choices B4 you buy one Take that sucker off and look at all the connections Pretty sure they are 5mm wide copper....plugs right into a pigtail on the steering column Possibly corroded If everything looks ok inside Unplug the wiper motor pigtail.....inspect as well GL |

Just wanted to update the thread here.
I went to the picknpull this morning and got a wiper switch out of 2008 Impreza. Went home, replaced it, and now my wipers work perfectly. There were no dirty contacts, burned connections on the PCB, or anything that would give me any indication that it was bad. Thanks, AliBenn. |
