Default Is today "Regional Drive Below the Speed Limit Day"??

I mean, all the way home at 8pm from DC to Bethesda, everyone insisted on driving below the speed limit although there was no one in front of them.

Mass Ave, Wisconsin, River Rd. Is it just me that noticed this today? I also noticed it on the way downtown at 6pm too.

...yeah, as an Arlingtonian, I never spend more than 25 minutes in the car, but I swear that my 2.5 hour trip to Manassas this afternoon was extended by slow-driving, book-reading, cell-phoning, light-footed morons.

I don't see how the hell people live out there. In one spot it took me 23 minutes to go 2 miles on 28!

Yeah, but this was just today in particular. It's usually very smooth sailing for me, takes me 17 minutes to go 20 miles each way to/from work.
