Default 2015 Stock WRX Alignment Specs

There's a lot of information scattered about, but maybe having a master thread for what people are running/able to get may be a good source of information for those looking to dial their cars in.

Here's what we were able to dial in to:



Thanks to HG Motorsport for the great work!

All units in Degrees unless specified otherwise:

FL: -1.5
FL Caster: 6.2
FL Toe: 0.05
SAI: 16.2
Included Angle: 14.8

FR CAmber: - 1.5
FR Caster: 6.0
Toe: 0.04
SAI: 16.1
Included Angle: 14.6

Cross Camber: 0
Cross Caster: 0.2
Cross SAI: 0.1
Total Toe: 0.09

RL Camber: -1.8
RL Toe: -0.06

RR Camber: -1.8
RR Toe: -.0.05

Rear Cross Camber: - 0
Rear Total Toe: -0.11
Rear Thrust Angle: -0.01

Hopefully this helps some folks out. Staggering the stock tire pressures at 36-40 helps with rear end rotation and front end grip. Car handles great with these settings we think!

Mine is simple:

Full negative front camber -- no point in measuring, I want it all regardless.
1/8" toe out front, zero toe rear.
Nothing else is adjustable so measurements are moot.
Tires (255 RS3's) 40/40. I wanted less front but the pyrometer said no.

I'll eventually check out 1/8" rear toe out, but I'm happy for now.

You didn't find with 40psi front that the front end would push more? also the 255's you have...I'm assuming they're 40 series?

Yes on the 40 series. Can't say about more push because I started at 40/40 and the outer tread edge was way hotter than the rest of the tire, so I never even tried lowering the pressure. But I really had no push complaints except for a specific type of corner where I was coming in fast and then a decreasing radius turn. That sometimes caused a judder as I tightened the radius. I was able to change my line to drive around it.

I just dialed in some negative camber on the front and set the toe to zero. Before my car would follow the crown with the road, now it still does. Justaddnos, does your car follow the crown of the road? I'm wondering if setting some toe out would help or hurt with turn-in.

It's a bit lively on grooved roads, but my emphasis is really on handling and turn in. It's not too bad honestly, but it does tend to dart a bit. I love the way the car handles, once it starts the transition, but I found the stock tend to not like aggressive driving.

so the only 2015 WRX adjustable settings are toe front and rear and front camber?

Should be front and rear toe are adjustable and front camber.

i have -1.5 in the rear left and -2.18 in the rear rigth with rce yellow spring , This can be a problem? I made 2 alignments and the problem persists. Everything is properly installed. any help? or i need lca ? 2015 wrx.

this was the first thread i found in my search, and ive posted in it before.. lol

installed my 1" lift today. I plan to get my camber and toe adjusted. I didnt know the back had a toe adjustment also.

But the real issue is caster. I lost some by lifting an inch. Prob lost 2-3 degrees of positive caster. I can't beleive there is no way to adjust it, ASIDE from getting the new fancy adjustable top hats. I wish someone made fixed length 3mm longer lower control arms like they sell for JK Wranglers. That would being me back perfect with a simple install.

You can add an anti-lift kit and ComC strut tops to get some of that caster back

Would these specs work with stock wheel and tires for a 2017 base WRX?

Any suggestions for front and rear toe for crowned roads? Having a lot of tramlining on the highway here in Florida but the roads have deep groves from trucks. Getting some tramlining but the alignment tech says the alignment is "within spec". That might be true because of the spec range but not necessarily the best settings.
