Why didnt you call the cops? Tell them some dude is swerving all over the road with a horse trailer wit horses in.
I'd guarantee they'd come after him right away.

Seriously. Enormous wastes of resources. Owning a horse means having a bigass trailer to move it around. A bigass trailer means a bigass truck to tow it.
Then you have the recreation areas. Everybody has to yield to horses (bikes and pedestrians alike). Hikers have to bury or pack-out their feces but horses are allowed to just **** everywhere and anywhere they want, including the middle of the goddamn trail. I have ceased to yield to horses on trails. I will stand there all ****ing day now if I have to. **** that ****. |

Another fine example, demonstrating that horse people are among the lowest forms of human life on the planet.

Don't know about NC, but there are a few states where non commercial meaning not class 8 farm and/or livestock trailers, require no plate. Grain hopper trailers with the slow moving sign and no lights are an example.

I would have seriously had to pull over take a walk and kick around some dirt, or that guy would have had some serious issues.

What a horse's ass.
Does NC not require trailers to have license plates? |

You needed to drop your wheels into the gutter on the inside of the turn before the consecutive hairpins to get past.
Doesn't the trailer need a plate? |

Really though, why didn't you just call the highway patrol (or whatever they're called in NC)? One report of a driver swerving all over the place, driving super slow, on the wrong side of the road, no license plate, etc.. ought to get some attention.
If that fails, dispatchers usually perk up if you say something like "he's driving like he's drunk or something." I'd say that it would be a fair assumption that someone is drunk if they're swerving all over like that, eh? I feel ya, though. Been stuck behind people like that out on country roads who think "Them foreign cars is out to cause trouble!" They usually won't go so far as to drive in the opposite lane, though... heh. |

I like the concept but I doubt the local PD would agree with my humor. On another note take a look at the type of vehicle they have it displayed on in the picture. |

Drove the WRX today..... the noise of the exhaust is enough to give most animals a heart attack It is also a bit better to respond to throttle input than the underpowered Miata, so passing should be easier if needed.
I'm just hoping I don't get behind this jackass again... ever. |

get a motorcycle, you have the perfect roads for it, and you could easily get past that truck and trailer, in all of your pictures. It is very easy to get a sportbike through a 2 foot wide space and your quick enough you'd be past the trailer before the guy could block you. I mean I only have a 600 and it will still do 0-60 in 3.5 and tops out at 167.

Depending on my mood and time constraints, I would have either honked continuously or just cursed continuously. I no longer would attempt the crazy passing required to get around that *******. |
