Disagree, silver is the worst color. Grays are bad too. Neither is actually a color anyway.

Agreed. A base silver with black 18" Enkeis will look outstanding.

The 90s-2000s ruined silver cars for me forever.

Subaru's best silver was Steel Silver Metallic. Tons of depth and one of the best silvers I've seen. Have no freakin' idea why they killed it.

Ice Silver Metallic sucks in comparison, IMO. No offense.

Maybe they'll do "Brown, yellow, and green" soon.

It actually has one of the best drivers position available in any performance anything. I’m 6 feet and change and man is it nice. Don’t even have to do the lean back on the seat back.

I have several buddies who are just over 6 feet and even with a helmet they could fit in the BRZ.

Your only other concern is if you're large in width. Those are the only people who truly struggle with sitting in the BRZ. You kind of have to be excessively large, though.

What a car! Modern day S2000. Subaru and Toyota ended up releasing the best sports car for the money. Crazy.

I wonder if I could make this work as my work car. Need to fit fair amount of bags and tools in the trunk. Kids only need to ride in it for short drives to school, sports etc.

Would love to get into rear drive again.

I've fit a decent amount of groceries from Costco in the trunk of my BRZ. Plus I've stuffed it full of items when I moved across the continent back in 2016.

I wouldn't put a kid behind you unless you're around 5' 8" and leave foot room behind you. Otherwise the passenger side can fit two kids just fine. I've had my nieces and nephews, as well as other people's kids and teens, and they fit fine to okay. Only adults really complain, but younger people enjoy the ride since it feels like a Go Kart.

quentinberg has way more input about fitting kids and things in an FR-S.

I did a full tech-school move from the Military in my BRZ. Granted, no furniture or anything - just 4 massive bags plus my duffel bag from TX > IL. I was pretty impressed, and I LOVED my BRZ. Would go back in a heartbeat.

I had my FR-S from 2014-2018. My daughter was 2-6 during my ownership. For preschool drop-off, I had to get the door for her, but by the time she was in kindergarten, she could get out on the passenger side if I released the door and the seat recline. She and I took a lot of weekend adventures in that car because my wife was working alternating weekends.

I could fit a road bike in the trunk with the seats folded. I did that a number of times on business trips. Easily swallowed up multiple bags.

Overall the size was just fine for me. I went to a Corolla Hatchback after the FR-S but not because of the size, TBH. I was ready to commute in something a little more toned down. Regular gas, better gas mileage, less unwanted attention, not “on” all the time/more relaxed.

Thanks yeah my older one is big enough to sit in the front, in fact he'd love sitting in the front of a BRZ lol. So it might work, or maybe as a third car.

Unfortunately I'm always worried my company will replace my car allowance with a company car (Subaru Outback). Being paid to drive around in an Si is the best part of the job.

You’ll be fine. Ingress/egress will kind of be a pain but I’ll think you’ll fit. At 6’2” I couldn’t believe how well this thing was set up for tall drinks of water. The best thing they did was make the indentions above both passenger seats for helmets. Go check out Matt Farah’s video driving the 86. He’s tall (and fat) and he had a helmet on. I marvel at the driving position in this small car. It really is pretty unique.

When I had my '17 BRZ PP, I drove my two daughters to school (6 and 8 at the time) almost everyday...no issues beyond the normal 2 door annoyance. I'm 5'11 and around 180lbs.
I'm excited for the new one. Its on the short list for my last ICE car.

Used Cayman prices right now are ridiculous. Unless you have the money I would get a new BRZ at MSRP (assuming you can find one without markup). Used Cayman also = expensive maintenance and repairs.
