Default 02 Impreza wrx manual swap

How do I make the speed sensor work for my manual swap from a 05 legacy gt to 02 Impreza wrx ? And also if anyone knows how to wire everything else that would be a plus thanks in advance .

Legacy measured speed at the hub. Your WRX measured speed in the trans. You have to open up the trans and add everything for the speed sensor to use one from a Legacy.

Legacy was almost identical width as the WRX. How much shorter are they?

If they don't work just get 05 WRX CV axles. They will have the correct male input shaft.

Car dimensions change, not the transmission size unless you're talking about 5 vs 6 speed trans. And that's only in terms of length since the 6 speed is a little longer than 5 speed. 05 WRX cv axles will work
