Firstly for an intake makethis:http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1471819

For your cat back just go to an exhaust shop and have them quote you a price. I just did an axle back myself..At the shop I went to they only charged me $175 Don't buy off ebay just go to an exhaust shop and pick your own muffler and tip! As for everything else http://www.rallitek.com/prodtype.asp?CAT_ID=0.
They dont sell headers for our year cars..no one does as of right now. At this point you will even have to have an exhaust shop fab you an HFC cause no one sells those either. Go with the Sway bar and lowering spring kit from Rallitek I love mine Improves the look and handling 10 fold! Do tint, rims, stereo, hell do a shift nob haha! Dont waste your time doing Unequal length headers cuz you will loose power, just to get a noise. someone will come out a header for our cars just wait!

Go Hybrid intake, exhaust(from a shop), header(when someone makes 1) cams, Tune.

I've tried to read through all these pages but I just don't have the time to. I searched and found parts of the answer to the question I'm about to ask but not enough to say I understand. If someone knows the answer please help me out and please don't be rude and tell me to just go search and read the entire thread.

Can someone tell me what cat-back exhausts exactly fits on the 06-07 2.5i sedan?

What I'm sure of from scanning:
06-07 WRX/STI axle-backs bolt up and fit
06-07 WRX/STI cat-backs are too short

What I still have questions about:
Can I just bolt up a 02-up cat-back from a 2.5RS?
There was discussion of cutting flanges and turning them 90 degrees. What does this pertain to?

Thanks everyone in advance.
After having asked this question when I first got my RS, the answer I hav discovered is that in order to fit a WRX/STi catback to an RS, the flange that connects the midpipe to the cat has to be rotated to fit and on some models, it also need to be extended a few inches.

What exactly does that entail? Flex tubing? I always feel like that stuff hinders airflow.

Default CAI for 09 2.5i

Hey guys,

I have a 2009 legacy 2.5i and I was wondering if anyone had any information about CAI systems for my car model. I have done some research but have not been very successful. I really would like to install an intake in my car but don't know what model parts are best to use or if its even worth it. If anyone has any information/suggestions/links to share I would greatly appreciate it.

2006 2.5i

CAI : Autozone/Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry/K&N
Autozone universal 3" MAF adapter with about 8" of polished aluminum tube (from the foundry) and a K&N style cone i had laying around from another project

CAI likes : $25 or so, no CEL's after 4k miles, not ungodly loud, shiny
CAI dislikes : none so far.

Catback : Tsudo polished w/ resonator $250 NIB
Likes : Now i don't stall out so much (my last toy had a V8, no need to rev it), cheap, i like the look of an angled muffler. Ungodly loud at full-tilt.
Dislikes : said it was for an 06-07 when it was for an '05. Needed a friend and his welder to make it fit. Kinda drones at freeway speeds.

I'm thinking about going to an '05 style header (Ebay Borla rep), anyone have issues with stock front sway bar fitments after doing this?

Just because you don't have a CEL doesn't mean you aren't doing damage. Please read the first few pages of this thread. Williaty has done more work around this than you can imagine. Cone filter style intake = bad news on an N/A any way you cut it.

Thanks

Please excuse my ingorance. I'm a Jeep/Offroad guy trying to put together a cool Subi for my sons first car. It's a 99 Impreza 2.5 RS. We just installed a CNT catback and want a little more sound. I am looking for a bolt on header/cat combo that will not cause any emissions or engine light problems. Due to price and being the same manufacturer, I am considering this:

http://www.cntracing.com/CNT_Flame_S...hd-9805srs.htm

Does anyone have any experience with this set up or any other good suggestions?
