Default Shop recommendation

I live in the wilkes-barre area and just moved here 2 years ago. I have an 07 STI that breaks as fast as I fix it. Looking for a good alternative to the dealership.

Current known issues include rack and pinion leak, secondary air pump failure, turbo oil leak and eventually I would like to get a few mods to bump up the performance.

Ordered a new turbo yesterday and I have to get the other two issues fixed before the inspection is due. Both dealerships near me are quoting me 1000-1500 for each repair

The dealership is always a rip off, I'm convinced every one of them sabotage your car so it's just never ending problems. If you have some mechanical abilities I say do the work yourself. The turbo replacement is not that bad and you can repair the turbo oil leak when you replace the turbo. IAG Performance offers a kit that replaces the stock hard lines for the turbo oil feed with braided lines. It should only take you a few hours to replace the turbo. Get a can of Aero Kroil and soak all the bolts for a day before attempting anywork and be ready to extract snapped and rounded bolts. If the secondary air pump is giving your issues I suggest deleting it, it's useless. You can do all the work it's not that hard it's just time consuming.

Don't know anyone up in PA. I think there is one in Easton but your best bet is probably in New Jersey. AZP in Kenilworth is very good and reasonable. Subi specialists

Default Where's the PA love AZP?

I hear all this great stuff about AZP service but thats a beast of a drive in either direction. One above, one below, none in Pa. Slim pickins round here for quality shops. (SW PA - Pittsburgh area)
Anyone have a line on a decent shop in this locale? Any thoughts on spreading some AZP love out this way? Seems like everyone has a Subaru what with all the mountains and snow round here, and they all use the dealer or some back alley shady tech/mech. It would be nice to find a decent shop close by that i felt comfortable and confident to have quality work done.

Not sure how far you are from them. But Area1320 is a awesome shop in PA, have built tons of subarus as well as my own Forester XT.

Two of the well known shops I'm aware of are in SE PA. Area1320 (already mentioned) and RT Tuning.
