Default 2012 5-door Sport Premium stainless brake lines?

Looking for a set of stainless / braided brake lines for a 2012 5-door (wagon? Hatchback?) Impreza Sport Premium, and all the listings I've seen so far only cover the 4-door sedan, or the WRX STi models.

Anyone have a link to a set or can tell me the difference that sets the 5-door apart from the 4-door so I could order a mixed set of front + rear?

Looks like the Stoptech 950.47006 might fit the front, but the only full kit that shows compatibility is from China/EBay so far.

The Ebay kit looks to be for the WRS/STi also, the compatible vehicle listing is different, but part number is the same as for the wrx only listings. Bahh!

Am I going to have to have these made up custom at a hose shop? Given the Lego-like interchange on my 02 WRX, I thought there would at least be an interchange for the front.

Anything that works for a 08-14 WRX should work for the Impreza. I'm guessing companies just don't list the Impreza as being compatible. FWIW, I have Evo Brembos in the front and LGT calipers in the rear of my 2003 WRX and stock lines. Interchangeability is pretty good for these cars. We also have WRX brakes on the front of our 2013 Impreza. It was just a rotor and caliper bracket swap though.

ether947, curious about your 2013 swap, what year/model parts did you use to upgrade the fronts? I'd like to put a set of '06 4 pots on my wife's 2012 Sport if it's not a huge swap.

I'm nervous about the WRX>Impreza interchange as the Impreza was a new longer wheelbase chassis in 2012, while I think the WRX stayed the same.
But I think you're right, no-one bothered with checking the Impreza fitment or they don't want to make the banjos with the little j hook on the end, but the lines should fit.

My 02 works fine with 4-pots and lines, but my wife's 2012 has a scary marshmallow for a pedal. Our roads folks salt the road a good part of the year, so pads and rotors are almost bi-annual purchases, and calipers don't last much longer, so I'd like to get an upgrade using affordable OEM parts

I used 08-14 WRX caliper brackets; however, any 02-05 or 08-14 WRX bracket will work. I think the Crosstrek bracket works too as that's where I got the idea from. Rotors can be from 02-14 WRX or other Subaru. It is a very common size for Subaru (294mm). Your 4-pots will bolt up to the Impreza with the 294mm front rotor but you will have to consider wheel clearance.

Here is a thread on rotor sizes.

2006 4-pot WRX calipers bolted right up to the 2012 Impreza sport premium, using new 294mm rotors. No caliper bracket needed on those. Much better braking!

This with after market wheels, so I don't know what the caliper clearance will be when I put the OEM summer wheels back on.

I installed the rear lines from my eBay generic stainless line set on the front, as the bend on the caliper fitting aligned nicely with the strut bracket. I realized my mistake when I got to the rear of the car and did not want to remove and re-bleed, so I'll swap them next brake job

My guess is they will fit, although the OEM rear caliper fitting is closer to a 90 bend, and the eBay ones are closer to a 45.

4 pot calipers will not fit behind OEM sport premium snowflake 17" wheels. You'd need at least a 6mm/1/4" spacer, and there's not enough thread on the stud for that.

Now I need to shop for summer wheels for her Daily Driver .

I guess I'll start by looking for 17's to fit an '06 WRX.
