I got this idea from someone else in one of these forums, so not original to me, but for the rear endlinks on some of the early 2000s Subarus, you can swap in endlinks off the front of some Audis and VW Passat. I was able to pick up a pair from a junkyard for $10. I made a video of it here:
It's a fantastic deal as these are high-end aluminum endlinks. I have been running them on my car for over a year without any issues.

Anyone have issues with aftermarket front swaybars and 2015+ Endlinks?

The bolts on my Type-RA endlinks are larger in diameter than my Superpro front swaybar. I got the corresponding Superpro endlinks, but it doesn't have two different sizes just the smaller diameter bolts.

Did front endlinks change size at some point?

This is excellent reading. Now to just wait till the wife won't balk at spending $460+ on suspension and tranny mount mods .

I'm sort of torn between a 22mm adjustable and 24mm adjustable. I'm leaning towards a 22mm adjustable set to middle for daily, stiff for track, and soft for winter.

Is Cygnus still on here and active?

New VA chassis have a 12mm bolt up front instead of a 10mm. This is because the bar is significantly bigger than previous years, 21mm to 24mm.

Superpro doesn't seem to list a front endlink for the 2015+ in their catalog btw.

Whiteline, kartboy, etc have different part numbers for the front bars and links. So, no, you shouldn't have issues unless you order parts for an 08-14. I suppose that doesn't prevent vendors from listing things incorrectly.

Whiteline's sway bar kits will most likely come with everything you need, including the sway bar mount bushings.

You will have to buy end links separately.

does any one know what size the fb20 impreza front sway bars are? and what would be a good front back combo for it with 8k coilovers as a daily and autocross car?

Anyone have an estimation on how hard the plastic stock endlinks on an 06 2.5i can be pushed when used with a 24mm Whiteline rear bar? I致e had it on for a while but I want to make sure everything will be alright.

This was a great and super informative post!

I have an 03 wagon and I知 planning on using King oem height springs which they say are 20-30% stiffer than stock. I daily this car but frequently do some spirited driving + I want the ability to play in dirt when I want to. I知 leaning towards 22mm front and rear but would a 24mm either in the front, rear, or both be better?

I have an 03 Forester that got hit in a parking lot on the passenger side wheel. It got pushed into a light pole and some damage was done to tie rod ends and a feel that other steering components my be damaged also. I know the struts have to be replaced. My question is that I have an 02 wrx wagon with adjustable coil over shocks and would these front end parts fit my Forester? Please feel,ij

Thanks for posting all this but I am seeing incorrect data for Sway bars on 2008 WRX.
I have a 08 wrx and the front is 20mm and the rear is 15mm

Does the 2015 STI rear sway bar fit 2008 wrx ?

Also, Do you agree that Coilovers will reduce body roll vs stock struts ?
My Cusco's did.

I swapped in a 22mm rear not knowing at the time that its not good to have larger rear than the front but obviously it was a great improvement, though I was running on 100k stock struts. I cannot say for sure I felt anything bad as I soon added a STI LSD rear diff, another HUGE improvement!

Now I have Cusco Coilovers they seem to handle the sway as well and I just swapped back the 15mm rear, and dont have the body roll.

A larger rear bar than front isn't bad, though I will say it's a bit too large of a jump for your chassis. Just depends on the cars intended use and driving style. I have 22mm front/rear (similar to 20mm f/r for your chassis) but almost always run my rear bar stiffer than the front. Have contemplated going 24mm rear, but as with everything there's advantages and disadvantages. Am leaning toward stiffer springs first as I'd like to keep as much suspension articulation as I can.

No I dont want a larger rear sway than front. researching says that at the most match the rear to front .

LEarned--If you plan to run coilovers then you wont need stiffer bigger sway's
the coilovers are anti roll.

my 08 wrx has stock 20mm front sway and 15mm rear. stock struts, it was kinda lame
I updated rear sway to 22mm whiteline on middle hole and was very happy, great turn in and handling, not great on entry driveway ramps.

Subi private Mechanic recommended I go Cusco zero Coilover's and go back to OEM 15mm rear sway , so I did 8 months ago,
and the ride is very stiff. uncomfortable on rough roads and bumpy highways ( CA bay area San Jose roads SUCK !
felt I guess a bit better but i could not feel change in turn in or anti roll. .
then with a tire issue I raised the rear and saw the rear sway right side had come apart, not supported on the frame.
So what i am saying is that with CoilOvers they really do a lot of antiroll and thus dont need bigger sways.
I hadnt felt the disconnected sway. Only knowing after and driving it through some 55-60mph turns could I notice some instability, but keep in my awful road here in CA Bay area San Jose.

1. I want to know is ? what years and if STI rear sway will fit my 2008 wrx ?
2. Go with Subaru Sway or a Perrin?

Thank You

Not sure about all the years that will work, but I'll chime in that the OEM VA sway bars fit my 2009 (same chassis as your 08), I changed to that bar about 4 years ago. Part number 20451VA000, also need 2 bushings 20464VA000, they fit perfectly in the original mounts. Wound up being ~$90 total for upgrade to ~20mm (I recall 20, could be 19mm though).

Thank You scooby but what is "OEM VA "?
once I find that I can use those part #'s

after running rear 22mm I want a 20mm, especially since I want to remove my coilover's

I found a 2008-2014 wrx rear sway on ebay from 541 motorsports but its 16mm. so looks like there is various sizes

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer, basically Subaru or whomever makes the vehicle.

VA = 2015 + VA chassis WRX/STi

2016 wrx/sti Perrin rear 19mm sway bar 14.5lbs - wow heavy
Whiteline rear 22mm sway 10 lbs.

is there a OEM 19mm or20mm rear sway that fits ?

Looking into softer springs to see if that would help

Shocking discovery,
I used a PC to research this same thing and found exact match results at the top.
Weird thing is I am using chrome browser on both computers.
I do all my research on my macbook, because its stable, easily organize and above all safer

So many answers are found here:
08-14 wrx koni yellows review and experience

https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho....php?t=2809125

Before I pull the trigger maybe there is softer coilover springs to try out?
