So I fixed it and sent an inner office email to shut everyone up...
Subject: Plumbed Coffee Maker- Enjoy Your Hands Free Beverage

Your coffee maker has been reset in 8186 to be a plumbed unit. Early on when hand filling, an internal float rose up placing it in manual mode. There is a reset fob with magnetic tab under the right Flavia placard[ in sailing terms would be the port side since the display would be considered the bow if attempting to mount and navigate the coffee maker in a boat like fashion] looking at the front of the machine. Pulling that out allowed the machines float to drop back into plumbed mode. A screw has been inserted into the trap door where you manually pour water to mitigate this from happening again. Thank you. That is all. You're Welcome!
This is awesome!

All you need to do is blame the tuning or vise versa and your out of the clear.

Utah needs another modern garage. However I dont think anyone wants to pony up the coin for that, and how profitable it would be is arguable.
There is a guy locally who does offer a warranty on his work, as long as its tuned by the tuner of his choice, so that he knows it's not being done incorrectly.

The huge problem with this is. How do you seperate abuse from a aggressive tune? Warranty on a engine that is built to beat the french toast out of! Yeah Right!

I think it should have a 3,000 mile warranty. Any properly built motor should last at least 3,000 miles.

There are way too many ass hats to build motors and actually offer a warranty of any kind. Even with my small amount of dealings. It amazes me what I see. There are reasons why companies come and go. It only takes 1 20k motor fail have to be rebuilt to put a shop out of business if they offered any kind o fwarranty.

So I've been recommended Jason Cleverly or racing edge to get a pro-tune for $250 instead of the Cobb AP for my 2013 WRX. Anyone here has any experience with these guys? What your thought on pro-tune + tactrix/ECUflash vs. Cobb AP? My goal is just a simple Stage 1 so my car can run better as we all know the infamous factory tune isn't very good. I have no plan to get a downpipe or any stage 2+ items. Looking to keep this car for a long time so nothing over 300HP for me. IMO Cobb AP is very convenience since I don't have to drag a laptop around with me like the protune/tactrix combo. But it costs more and the OTS map isn't all that good. However it allows me to instantly monitor my Boost and thing like that on the go. Can ECUFlash do some sort of real time monitoring if I drag a laptop around with me?

Dude, just get a Cobb accessport and be happy. Yes the cleverly runs will get you more hp and cheaper but the acceasport offers a ton of stuff, not to mention all the support. If you were running e85 or larger turbo I could see open source but for simple reflash go with the Cobb.

I thought the pro-tune was going to be better anyway. Or at least that what I heard. As I said I'm not going to tune it to e85 or get a larger turbo. The car will be bone stock for as long as I have it. There will be nothing that I want to add that will require a tune. So Cobb would probably benefit me more even with just the OTS map from Cobb?

Here is the thing. With the OTS cobb map you will get a generic SAFE tune that probably has more room for power. What I like is simplicity. Lets say you want to go to stage 2 at some point. Plug it in and bam, its done. No going to someone to opensource it. Now lets say you want to revert to stock. Plug it in and you're done. Unless you know how to do this with opensource software you will be going to someone to do this for you each time. You can always have the AP protuned if needed. I truly believe that the AP is a superior unit to opensource for BASIC upgrades and flashes.

Jesse is a good tuner. I wont argue that.

I would like to get some one from RallySport to chime in. Rick or Kirill?

Exactly what i was thinking. Although I'm confident I can use the Tactrix cable + ECUFlash/RomRaider. However the Cable is $170 + shipping. The cheapest pro-tune is $250 and I have to drag my laptop around to have access to live monitor. When I first heard about it I thought I can get those Tactrix cables for $70 which is a lot cheaper even with the pro-tune map. But the cost is going to be around the same but I don't have all the features and support the COBB AP offers. I'll just go with a cobb AP when money comes in

The biggest downside to AP is that it's generic. This is also it's strongest suite. Now with development behind it, you see more and more features and support with one (Full sd all years, fuel pump duty, per gear boost control 08+etc). The danger will always be flashing a map that is set up for say no boost leaks and similar altitude etc. This is where a pro tune(wide band) comes into play. You honestly won't feel the difference between 10.2:1 afr and 13.0:1 afr. And if you have a small intake or exhaust leak your actual fueling may be off by 10% or greater. I also have one hell of a hard time hearing det in the cab on a stock motor. Built motors even with say 100+ decibel exhaust it's almost always audible inside.

All in all they have really worked hard and improved on the AP since i've been tuning, it's now I would say worth the investment. Even their base maps have come a long way!

Jesse never gave me a slurpee, either.

He did give me a shoulder to cry on after my motor has melted down a third time (failed-super-crappy-side-feed-injector took it down).
