Removing Windshield Washer Reservoir
Hello! Currently working on a DIY Brake Duct project for my 2015 wrx sti and and need of a quick answer! Recording video of the process to share with everyone once I'm done!
Right now the windshield washer fluid reservoir is in the way of my duct passage. I want to remove the reservoir, but can someone confirm for me that my dashboard wont light up like a christmas tree because the reservoir is gone? Thanks! This is some empty tank coming out of the stock intake box, planning on taking it off as well.

Removing the tank will not cause any problems. I suggest installing a different tank to keep the functionality of the windshield washer sprayer unless you REALLY don't need it.
The "tank" on the other side is an intake resonator to quiet down the intake noise of the car. Other than that it's completely useless. |
