I just wanna go fast.

Here's the footage:

It's a 2.1L pinned EJ205 with Crower 280s, PTE6466 targeting 42psi (boost gauge is off about 3psi) on 91 octane with Devil's Own methanol injection (50/50). There's STi drivetrain, a Competition triple disc, IAG output shaft, and DSS axles/carbon driveshaft. Car is full interior, AC, and I drive it often on the street.

It's made lots of 9.8 passes, and tons of bottom 10's. PB was 9.8 set a couple of weeks before this weekend where Friday we made a couple of low 9.8's, then on race day we got this 9.7. Super happy with the car. Hope to find a way deeper into the 9's.

Having the car for about 6 weeks I had to see what she could do at the track. When I purchased the car it had an Injen intake, tein springs and an N1 catback.

Practically Stock:

R/T: .143
60': 1.848
330: 5.422
1/8: 8.378
MPH: 83.11
1000': 10.475

1/4: 13.142
MPH: 102.78

Air Temp 90*
Humidity 75%

Next Go-round I added a few mods and got tuned by TopSpeed in Alpharetta, GA

R/T: .191
60': 1.713
330: 5.129
1/8: 7.975
MPH: 86.21
1000: 10.469

1/4: 12.585
MPH: 106.55

Air Temp: 65*
Humidity: 35%

Mods were: IAG TGV deletes, Air pump delete, Crawford AOS, Grimspeed boost controller, bellmouth catless DP, Agency Power mufflerless quad tip, fuel stumble mod, 93octane

I have them on the list. How do you like them? Surprised they hooked at those pressures. Do you drive on them to the track and feel they can take you deeper in the 10s?

I love them. Only thing I dislike is they look directional but are not, so one side of the car has backward looking tread. They are my only set of wheels/tires so they are dailys and im ok with that. 100% yes I can go deeper with these tires, I don't ffs or anything so I know Im leaving a little on the table there. Plus that was the first night of drags with that tune. 129mph has some potential.

But as far as the launch goes I think I am just an oddball, I spin 1st gear everytime and I make sure of it by upping launch rpm if the track is sticking too well. I like to do that simply because I can duplicate it everytime.

It's not all bad ... No offense to all the desk jockies out there but there is something to spinning your tires off the line ... A whole hell of a lot less driveline shock as far as I'm concerned. It's when you stick the launch like your on fly paper that stuff starts letting go IMHO ...

Anyhow, it really doesn't matter in your case, sub 1.6sec 60" times are spot on ... Good work
