Default 2020 Ascent roof rails

Does anyone know if the roof rails can be removed? I have no use for them and I think it would give the truck a much sleeker look.

Yes they could be removed, you would need to drop the headliner and the side curtain airbags to access the bolts.
Then create a custom trim panel to fill the channels and seal the holes for the bolts that were removed. Then reassemble the interior.

I read somewhere that there were some euro rails that are low profile and look a lot better. Has anyone seen these and know if that’s a viable option?
