Fuel Pump Duty Cycle (Cold vs Warm)
2002 Bugeye with a 2.5 block with 2.0 heads.
After installing stock airbox and getting warmer outside I started to notice on warm starts that my AFR Corrections would spike to -20 and wasn't sure why. Today I noticed it again and decided to start logging some parameters. What I found when this was happening was my FFB was 11.x AFR. I did a bit more digging and found that in a warm startup FFB would start at 11.x and slowly climb to the value of 14.7 but while it was doing this the fuel pump duty cycle would be pegged at 100% and then drop to 33.3 eventually. I then later went out and waited till the car was cooled down and ran the same log and parameters and found that when the vehicle was colder the behavior didn't happen and since I did most of my logging when it was cold I never noticed this. So I'm curious if anyone can point me in the way to what to look at to work on this. I am currently using RomRaider for tuning. Or is this some mechanical or electrical issue going on?
