The money isn't what gets me, it's the time. This volvo I'm sure there was some outside motivation to do it... I get that. Love that someone it did it. But still have to wonder how someone thought "needs to be low. We're in Sweden so it has to be a Volvo since we don't wear black turtleneck sweaters. You know what? That **** needs to be chopped 30cm and I've always had a hard on for back to the future.... mutha flipping gull wing doors."

That person is probably a blast to drink with.

Classy but still a hill billy. Maybe Reba McEntire's weekend ride?

Maybe there's a tie in here with the vintage car thread and liberty walk "1st gen camaro" front ends on Nissan 240sx (s13/s14 IIRC)

granting the liberty walk stuff is not nearly as questionable as this

Love the pictures, Lag. I know the red one is a Ferrari takeoff, but Mazdarati sounds better.

One of these drives around my neck of the woods. This one is a few years older but it works.

Roughly 75% of the stories I've written for BangShift.com fit the bill.

https://bangshift.com/author/tonysjr/

Off-road Fox Mustang thing:

C4 Vette Kart with an LS swap and 4 TURBOS:

Some poor Jaaaaaaag XKE turned into an approximation of the Ambiguously Gay Duo car:

4x4 Chevy Vega wagon with this sweet mural on the hood:

A big, brown El Camino limo:

A double-ender FWD Regal:

This Crown-Vic-based... uhh... thing:

The list goes on and on. If you guys see anything weird you want me to write about, let me know.

I am sure that's there to catch the overflow from the over heated power steering fluid. Not that I speak from experience or anything like that.

I didn't see your description and thought it was a good start to a stripped C4. They seem to be becoming a thing? wait, turbo. Neat. Try to scroll, another turbo, on the same side? I've seen that with LS* swaps to because the steering was in the way for the other side. WAIT, another turbo... 4!?

I only wonder now if whoever is building that has the balls to drive it 10/10.

Here's a build thread: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/fo.../132398/page1/

Guy likes to bring it to cruise nights and piss off the Corvette purists. I like him.

I wouldn't really call the MKZ interior odd or strange. Just plain (and) ugly. Very, very ugly.

It kind of has an alien-eyes vibe with that center stack and air vents. The high cowl and imposing vertical mass of the dashboard scream old design, but not necessarily weird.

My first thought was it looks like the higher spec KOSS portable CD player. American cars having garbage interior is very much the opposite of odd. It's expected.
