Well welcome. I had a 2007 forester cross sport xt many years ago. It is one of the only vehicles I regret trading in. It was quite literally my perfect vehicle.

I come back once every few months just to check out TXIC and maybe look at some pics from the newer Subarus. I miss my bugeye a lot! I guess most of the community that was around when I had it has moved on. Still the best car forum around, and the nicest community out there!

I am back since I have a Subaru again, but yeah the forum looks pretty dead. I just picked up a 2005 WRX with only 41k miles.

welcome back mkud28. an '05 with 41k is one hell of a find. hope you didn't pay too much for it, but then again, I think those are starting to get more desirable. my unicorn-baru would be an '05 sti with an '07 limited interior and trunk lip, but I may be snoozing on it too hard. An '05 with 100k miles are still around $20k, and to me, that just sounds like too much for a 12 year old car, with by now, a most likely questionable history.

I may have paid a little much for it, but I wanted a low mileage 02-07 and knew my chances finding another might be difficult. I had been looking for years to find the right one and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I plan on keeping it mostly stock, especially until the miles go up some more.

i've come back from years ago, i have been looking at info for my 13 sti exhaust.
so far nothing yet. the info i was looking for is to do full exhaust two separate places want to start me off on a cat or turbo back exhaust ( i'm fully stock save for filter and stage one cobb), vs i want to have a full exhaust (header up/down pipe and all) i figure might as well do it all vs in pieces. a front mount intercooler was also recommended along with the cat back. but i figure ill do more research and just wait. |
