Also interested. Didn't have good luck with an early P&L unit and the AVO unit seems to not be a perfect fit. Looking forward to see what you come up with; hoping for a solid solution that feels like it's meant to fit.

If it doesn't fit well and perform, it will not be released

TiC came across a fitment issue so no testing will be taking place just yet. I botched the fit-up to the throttle body, but it's nothing worthy of putting the brakes on the project/product. It just means it will take a bit more time before we start seeing feedback from these.

Here's a pic from our shop 2015 WRX if you're curious about what fitment will look like...

^ I see tabs for it on the pic above.

I wonder if anyone will make aftermarket "covers" to replace that large oem piece. that would be interesting...

I hope it works with the OEM shroud as the FXT owners will more then likely hop on this unit as well.

That's the plan. Shroud will need some trimming though.

It's on our to-do list.

We've made some revisions, but I think you'll like them....

Fitment is spot on.

End tank that actually covers the ENTIRE core for full flow (check out the competitors on this one)

How about works with OEM engine covers/shrouds to direct the air in a manner that improves the efficiency.

Cast in OEM mounting

Tapered inlet and outlets means the smoothest possible transitions

We use the highest quality cores available.

CAD designed, tooled, and manufactured completely in the USA.

We've got more testing coming on the horizon, but based on competitor results and designs, we are shooting for the top shelf

No. Beta testing will be starting very soon. Production pieces 22 weeks out... maybe more depending on the pre-order list (we already have many interested).

Not sure on what combo configurations will be available at this point. Have a neat charge pipe in the works though

Looks great already....love the new endtank. I was trying to wrap my head around how the others got any flow to the lower channels.

Put me down for this TMIC and the charge pipe you have in the works. I know they will be designed to work together perfectly... I have no problem waiting for as many months as it takes to develop and engineer such high quality products. Thanks for the great update today Killer B!

Thanks!

I agree, I don't understand how some of the current designs came to be. What is the point of a larger intercooler that cannot flow properly across the ENTIRE core. Or worse, can't flow across the entire core and has an endtank that forces the air-path around a hairpin corner. Air does not like to do that, and will be horribly turbulent using that approach.
