where is this place in colchester? is there a phone number? the only contact info I got from the website was an email address, which came back saying the address was bad or something.

Here is the location 158 Brentwood Dr, Colchester, VT. Its like 30 seconds off of exit 17 on 89.
I contacted him through his work email: [email protected]
He is one of the nicest people you will meet. No doubt. I was supposed to be on the dyno at 1. Ran into a tonnnn of problems and didn't get on until almost 9 last night. But he didn't care at all. Said the other day he was up until 2 AM tuning an EVO.
Walks you through everything and really breaks it all down so newbs like me can understand.
I would highly recomend him!

Nates Auto in Essex is in the works of doing subaru tuning, they currently do VW. I'm sure if more people inquire the might follow through....

I know this post is ages old but I am in VT, pretty close to VEMS and considering headed there. I have a NA Supercharged 2.5i so i believe this is a little more tricky to tune than your average WRX or STI due to the fact that the ECU is not already configured for boost. I know that EFILogics does a lot of cars with the EVO turbo kits (similar tune than mine will need) but they are far away. It sounds like Nick from VEMS has done a few turbo'd 2.5i's as well. Any more recent feedback on VEMS?

Call him. He'll tell you if it's something they can do or not.

I don't believe they do, I called about 6 months ago, I didn't get a positive answer but wouldn't hurt to call them.

Sucks I have to travel 3 hours to the tuners but good road trip and make a day out of it.

I have been emailing with Nick from VEMS. Sounds like he's done turbo'd 2.5i's before so the SC should really be no different, maybe easier.

VEMS in Colchester is indeed actively tuning Subarus - just finished up with my Supercharged 2.5i today and it runs great. Their facebook page might be the best way to see what they are up to lately.

They are also now an IAG Dealer so you can get a 650hp capable shortblock and tune all in 1 spot.

Had a nice email conversation with Jason yesterday. I'm pretty excited to take my car there! And it's nice to have a Subaru shop in VT. No more 3 and half hour trips!

I live in the heart of Burlington and am interested in finding out if anyone knows where I can have work done on my wrx... like real work, FMIC and the such. I had a hard enough time just getting whiteline bushings (both positions) pressed into my front lower control arms... cost me $750 at next generation auto on Dorset st in south Burlington and they also installed my Perrin sway bars and endlinks (front and back but those don’t take long, it’s was $450 for the bushings and $300 for the sways and links...). I just need a less expensive shop that knows their stuff so I can invest more into my 2009 wrx. I still need to do my coilovers, FMIC, and I’d like to look into a new larger turbo along with injectors and fuel pump.... any suggestions would be appreciated and I only ask in this thread because it is Vermont specific and when I called VEMS a couple months ago to inquire if they knew a shop for my swaybars and endlinks and coilovers they never even bothered to give a call back!! ***129324; Thank you all in advance.

Default Tuning in Vermont?

I think VEMS is more engine than suspension. I would imagine they’d be happy to do the engine/power related work. You will need a tune after those mods (well, injectors and turbo for sure) and they will be able to do that too.

Any reputable shop should be able to install coil overs. What about vermont tire ? I’ve heard other Subaru owners have them install suspension from them. Did you get an alignment after the control arm replacement ?
