I predict if you push it past 18/19 psi you will run with the MAF pegged at 5v which could eventually lead to leaning out to the point that you melt a hole in your piston....all without an indication of knock. But feel free to prove me wrong! -Rob

I tried the diode yesterday, but the guy at the electronics store gave me the wrong diode that only produced an engine light. I will try ordering one of the net and see what happens. If not I'll pick up a defencer. |

Diode is in. Boost is creeping towards 19psi up high and tapers back to 18psi right away. Tapering to 15psi by Redline. Much better. Has anyone ever used a zener diode before? Make sure you ground the negative end to the body and just tap the signal wire.

Well lets say its not even comparible. I would bet an extra 60-80chp from where you are now maybe a bit less. Like leaving you in the dust different I don't know its hard to judge. I do know that when I had Rob's 440 tune I race my exact same car but stock and it was a beating.

I would recommend a TBE and a better IC for the 550 tune and this much boost. Other than those yes Phase 1 to Phase 2 injector collars, 550s and a MBC with Robs 550 tune.

Sniper do you think my ARC TMIC is going to be enough for the boost we are talking about or do have to step to a FMIC right away its in the works but in a few months let me know your opinion

It should be good. I am running a 02+ USDM TMIC on mine which is barely enough yours should be better than that.

My ECU worked like a charm this time rob your customer service it top notch and I want to thank you for your work and help on this. My car runs great now its nice having and extra 4-8 PSI of boost. before I was running like 10 PSI on Low and 13.5 on High now im running 14 on low and 17.5 on high. My best mileage to date is 21.5 but the newness of the tuning is still fun to play with. O yeah and the EVO X that I had to school is currently thinking twice before picking on a old looking cars from this point on.
THANKS AGAIN YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH DO NOT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY ABOUT IT!!!!! |

Mine is running strong as ever. It is starting to cool down to -10 C in the mornings here and all is well also. I may turn the boost down for winter though as in the snow traction is hopeless making this much power

on the ej20G you need the collars to put in the 550CC STi injectors or those fuel rails instead of collars what ever way you chose to go with. Someone above asked the required parts list for this type of tune and he was told to use the collars but it was also being pointed out that you can just use those fuel rails instead of the collar kit

Collars worked great for me. You don't even need the injector clips either as ours work fine.
