I'd have thought that you would be aware that flight paths don't necessarily work that way.

Lufthansa direct from LAX to MUC is 11hrs 30mins.

I really appreciate the offer, but I should be okay. All the mechanical guys I work with are better than me, and a couple are even certified experts. It's just that I was working on a Saturday to catch up on some things and nobody else was there. Once I get back on Monday I'll have help.

LAX-LHR is about 10.5 hours
LAX-MUC is about 11.5 hours

Still faster than going to HK.

Left coast flights to Europe aren't bad as long as they're direct. I'd much rather fly one of those than something like PHL-DUB which is barely six hours. By the time you eat and they dim the lights, you might have three quality hours to sleep before they turn the lights back on an hour before landing.

Weird. I was using Google to get flight times and it wasn't showing me non-stop options for those routes. Maybe it was the default dates I left in there.

I read about those. Can't imagine being in peasant class for that length of time.

It's warm tonight...mid 60's. Yet a neighbor is burning some stinky wood and there's no breeze to carry the smoke away. Get off my lawn

Work doesn't support ability to unlock Samsung S10+ with either facial recognition or fingerprint. Unable to find out if this will change in the near future.

Loving the battery life improvement.
Considering moving back to the S9+

Unlocking phone with password sucks when used to fingerprint or facial recognition.

My employer issues iPhone 8.....only. Good thing I don't want a company phone.

But they do allow fingerprint unlock

Trying to sell random household things online is maybe the most ****ing torturous thing you can do. At this point, I'm happier to just give **** away than try to coordinate with cheapass facebook and craigslist weirdos who only seem to want to haggle with you, and then never actually show up.

Assorted lawn & garden tools, my big ass Husky toolbox with some tools, once I grab whatever I'll need, a steel wheelbarrow, 12x12 pop up with screen walls, spinning compost bin, standing freezer, Arcan long & low reach jack and 2 pairs of jack stands, kerosene space heater... All sorts of stuff.

I need to have the house cleaned out by 12/16.

That'd be an improvement over the people I'm dealing with, because there's a better chance you'll actually show up.

Turned on receiver and sub for some movie time action. Hadn't used the system for a movie over a year, haven't really wanted to, but... I think my ears deserve listening to EndGame with good audio... and subwoofer didn't turn on. Blown Boston Acoustics sub.

Grrr. Search the interwebs to see if others having the same issue. Yes, and it's a common fault in this model. A diode fries. Took panel off, looked at card for particular diode... and yep. Same thing. Fried. Ordered 20 replacement diodes for $5 and should be here tomorrow to remove/replace.

Gripe: Blown sub.
Gripe: Can't just buy one diode for pennies.
Gripe: Desconstruction and reconstruction of a component on a circuit board.
Random joy: Being able to fix it for $5 and not having to spend a few hundred bucks on a new sub.
Gripe: Couldn't watch movie with Subwoofer.
