Default 4EAT - when it goes, it goes?

I have a problem with my sportshift 4EAT where it would slip a bit around 4k rpm, causing extra load on the engine

It doesn't stop there, but the RPM is not climbing linear with speed, as it should

I have uprated valve body installed for quicker shifts, but I had this slipping problem before that

the tranny has 130k miles on it

is there a way to diagnose it, or the best bet is to pull it off disassemble and inspect? I was under impression when it starts slipping, it dies pretty fast and becomes undriveable, yet mine is still kicking no problem

are there any uprated clutch packs for it, in case they are worn out?

My local transmission shop rebuilt mine with upgraded clutch packs and upgraded friction material. Was at about 400 torque and never had any issues afterwards
