Driving into work today merging onto the highway this hauler passes me and i spot the wing hanging out the back. Took about 5 miles of traffic to catch up but it was worth it.

As much as i love the s209, the price is insanely high for what it offers. But the buyer will have infinite bragging rights. And that is priceless in itself....

Just imagine if this was the base STI. They'd have to open a new factory to just meet the demand. I'd buy one for $43k at this point.

Made in Japan, now finally in America. From Japan, minus forged pistons, with love.

Agreed, i'm sure there will be some driven all year..but for 65k I'd keep her warm in the garage. And if spending 65k I don't know if this would be in my garage.

Killer car, it would make a great winter daily if you had a Porsche GT3 or something like that. Some people just have to much $$$!

In my building at work, someone beater is a GTR. His occasional car is a Ferrari. I have also seen him drive in a old 60's restored Bronco. Im sure $65-70k is nothing to him. |

The s209 outperforms more powerful cars in the same class in the handling dept WITH LESS POWER. This car is a unicorn track monster. Those who end up getting one know what they are getting.. an investment. In 20 yrs from now low mileage s209s are going to be worth a pretty penny

Well, they did build it knowing those who buy it will probably take it to the track on the weekends and keep it garaged during the week. At least that is what I would do.

No offence but i really don't see the value in the S209 and i think it looks absolutely stupid with that ricer spoiler.

Agreed. I never like spoiler in that style. The original sti spoiler looked better. The s209 should of been all carbon fiber. Doors, hoods, fenders, and trunk. Then the price will be about correct.
