Default Stalling/dying while driving

My 08 5spd has been stalling while in gear, and all of the electronics go haywire. My seatbelt alarm won't go off, even if all seatbelts are buckled. The airbags turn off, the stereo keeps resetting, and the battery light occasionally flashes. The traction control and ABS lights also turn on with the stalls, and go away after a few seconds. The stalls will occur every 10 seconds or so while in gear. I have no issues in neutral. I have replaced the alternator with a brand new one from rockauto but that did not fix anything. The car also dies upon turning it off and needs to be jumped to restart. The battery is reading 12 volts. Before I replaced the alternator, the car died as I was pulling out of an intersection. It was the only time it has died. All other incidents have been stalls while in gear. I can't find anyone else who has had the same issue as me

Check the ground cable for the battery to the block.

I added 2 new grounds; 4 gauge wire from the neg. terminal to the alternator and another to the frame. Should I add another to the block? The issues persisted after I added the grounds by the way.

Not always how many grounds you have. Its about how low the resistance is. But also can sensors can cause strange issues with some subaru's turning off.

Check the ground to the block. Make sure the ground by the starter is tight. Then check your cam sensors and wiring.

Did you let the ECU re-learn idle after disconnecting the battery?

I haven't gotten to this yet. I am more worried about trying to get my car to start on its own, without a jump.

The grounds to the block and starter are tight and functional; both are reading over 12 volts. I checked the continuity of the cam sensor and it was fine. I plugged it back in and the car barely started, most likely because it has been sitting for a few days and it has been below 20 degrees F for most of the week. It ran fine afterwards, no issues occurred. The battery was reading over 14 V with the car running, so the alternator is working well. I didn't fix or replace anything, just checked those two grounds and the sensor. I will return to this thread if the issues return
