Default Post Ceramic Pro Care - Adams Polishes

So I had my car Ceramic coated after picking it up from the dealership. The first wash is coming up and I just want to get opinions regarding the sequence for the wash.

I am going to go with the Adams Polishes Wash and Wax.

Next, I am not sure if I should use the H2O Guard and Gloss or the Ceramic Boost?

As per the video on their site they mention that you can use the H2O every wash but they recommend maybe once every 2 washes.

Any other products you guys would recommend?

I use CarPro Reload on mine after every couple of washes. I really like it and it seems to keep the ceramic nice and slippery.

For shampoo always use a shampoo without additives, so no waxes, gloss enhancers etc. Waxes won't stick to the coating, and any additives interfere with the properties of the coating. Ie. water won't bead as well, not as clear etc. The only exception to this rule is a shampoo with a silica sealant built in (Carpro Hydrofoam, Gyeon Bathe+).

For shampoo Carpro Reset is pretty much the standard that others are compared to for use with coatings and a little goes a long long way (a 500ml bottle can last years). Other good shampoos include Gyeon Bathe, Adams Car Shampoo.

Wash and Gloss is a polymer sealant, so doubtful it will bond to your coating. The only polymer sealant that plays nice with a coating that I'm aware of at the moment is P&S Beadmaker. Beadmaker has developed a cult like following as of late due to its properties, coating compatibility, and is comparably cheaper than others. It's fairly common to use it as a drying aid every time and it certainly doesn't break the bank.

If you would rather do a silica spray sealant, I highly suggest CarPro Reload. It really only needs to be applied once every 3 months, way too expensive to apply every wash. I use Carpro ECH20 mixed 20:1 as a dying aid/QD and it stays slick all the time (slicker than Reload by itself), it contains small amounts of silica in it just like Reload.

I also use CarPro Reset to wash my cars as it plays well with coatings. After that what you do is up to your budget and how much effort you want to put in. With a ceramic coating you don't NEED to put anything on top. Anything else is just maintenance to "extend" the life of the coating by some unknown amount. I never put anything on top of my ceramic coating and it lasted just about 3 years. Now that it's gone I've switched back to a polymer sealant and will probably put CarPro Reload on top of it to improve the dust / water shedding.

Personally I wouldn't use any shampoo which has waxes or fillers added, not needed and will not bond to the ceramic. Be sure to use the two bucket or gary dean method of washing to reduce the chance for new scratches and swirls. As for a maintenance product, CarPro reload is good, Gtechniq C2v3 in my opinion is the best on the 'prosumer' grade market.

Default Post Ceramic Pro Care - Adams Polishes

Adams car shampoo (the blue one) for a foam cannon pre wash (touchless wash). I actually prefer griots foaming surface wash for this, but Adams is also wonderful and you mentioned you like the Adams brand

Follow up with carpro reset for a contact wash.

I’d seal all that with The Last Coat V2...only after complete chemical decon and if needed mechanical decon.

While you’re at it...

Make your own sio2 quick detailer with carpro products:
2oz reload
2 oz ech20
20 oz distilled h20

Or go out and get their elixir which is that combo with some hudro2 thrown in.

If you wanted to go to a polymer based topper instead of SiO2 based- BEADMAKER!!!! Gloss and slickness are unbeatable
