GrimmSpeed (merged thread)
I was looking at other vendors in the reviews section and found none on Justin aka GrimmSpeed, so I thought I'd start it off.
Customer service is way beyond excellent, as Justin goes far and above all expectations: -replies to PMs in a timely manner; great communication before/during/after order -never hesitates to give advice and help if asked -straightforward with suggestions on projects -willing to 'take care of you' if at all possible, if core is available he'll get it out to you so little to no car downtime My expericence so far with GrimmSpeed applies to: -Crossover Groupbuy. -Massive Port TD04. Great pricing ,fast shipment and product is great as expected for both x-over and turbo. Also looking out to expand not only his great port and polish skills, but also to provide new and price conscious products; i.e. hood dampners, Phenolic spacers. Thanks for everything Justin! wow!...thanks for the complements mars. myself and the guys here at grimmspeed are really just a bunch of subaru freaks that really just enjoy doing this. we are all a bunch of regular guys that have day jobs and do all of this at night and on weekends. since we all have regular day jobs we know how much bad customer service sucks, so we try to make everyones experience with us as cool as possible.
thanks again! Justin www.grimmspeed.com |

These guys are great. Justin is pretty much the best guy ever. Very quick turn around on everything I've given him. I've got the exhaust mani P&P, TGV deletes, crossover pipe, and I'm probably going to pick up a set of phenolic spacers before the build is done. They run a great business, and the guys there are friendly and helpful. They've been great throughout my entire build. Thanks alot guys!

Great to see good reviews up here. I had my headers, throttle body, turbo, and uppipe ported, polished, and gasket matched (for some of the parts) before Grimmspeed was founded. Everything looked great then, I can't imagine how it must look now due to all the experience they must have

What can I say? Well, for one Justin really took care of my order with ease. The shipping to Hawaii was reasonable, the service was very fast, and he's available on AIM for chats when needed.
Hands down, very very good service. Da Parts I ordered a set of pnp tgvs which I requested to be coated. I was even advised to be gentle with the coating as they were very fresh. Good lookin out for me! The pnp work, as you all know, was fabulous. We used his set as a model for another pnp set that my buddy did. There were no leftover bits of metal anywhere. No dust, no boogers, nada. The gasket matching was perfect. The coating was great and I just sent him my cores so that one of y'all can experience the pleasure of flow. My car is in the middle of a massive parts binge and is without suspension or wheels at this time. I'll get a review of the functionality of that part up when the car is painted and tuned. But honestly, I can't say enough about how good they looked. AND they were a great price. NICE..... Thanks again Justin! If I were a rich guy I'd send some Jag for the robot. Unfortunately, with a kid and widebody project, I'm not in that position at this time! Keep up the good work! |

These guys are awesome. Great Great work. Sent in my brand NEW!! VF34 turbo and Throttle body for Port and Polish. The P&P job was excellent didn't take too much off didn't leave too much on, Took off just the right amount. Also ordered a set of Intake manifold gaskets and Phenolic 8mm spacers w/bolts.
Everything came back packaged nice and tight, so no worries for transit damage. I will definitely send more parts in the future for P&P work. Thanks to Justin and the Grimm speed team!!. Keep up the good work. |

Has Grimmspeed been closed for the past week? I'm trying to contact Justin regarding the replacement of a defective crosspipe, but he hasn't responded to any of my PM's from the past week.

Ok so I just got home from my long drive back from Santa Clarita Ca. The drive home had to have been the best time I have spent in my car! The car is ****ing nasty! it moves, and pulls really hard up top and just does not want top stop! My first tune on 6/24/07 I got 304/255......due to some meth problems and a really really hot day! Yesterday I got a amazing 330whp, and 319 torque. Thats 26whp, and 65 Torque, and man that makes all the difference in the world! My only new mods were Grimm Speed P&P with crossover and a turbo XS Dtec! (thanks Sean) Then Tim did what he does best tuning. I am really happy that I made the drive to Yimi sport, and have a round two with Tim. People I would like to thank! *Tim Bailey *Paul, & everyone at Yimi Sport. You guys rock and I'm "hella" proud to say that you guys do work on my car *Sean, for that great Dtec, it really makes a huge difference! *Grimm Speed, love the P&P and crossover you guys rock!! *Chris at Scooby Tunner for all hours on the phone and all the great stuff you sold me. 30am on HWY 5 Showing some love to people at Yimi Sport On the dyno, thats 329/318 of wrx bliss lol The dyno sheet! And the drive on the way home, crazy ass weather. Nice in so cal, to nasty back home got to get home fast! Nasty nor cal lol |

Here is my share of experience with GrimmSpeed. First, I am from Taiwan and purchased quite alot of GS products in the past. Recently my GS turbo heat shield broke which created lots of metal banging noise (lower mounting point to the downpipe) After emailing a few pictures to GS and immediately they dispatched a brand new heat shield completely free of charge. The USPS international freight was $48 something and GS paid it off too! Just want to say GS is superb in every aspect, especially taking care of a customer like myself which is on the other side of the world!

Awesome service! I needed to move my license plate from out of my front window, so o wouldn't get a ticket. I ordered the relocation kit, and even put the wrong address on accident, and the service was fenominal! 10/10
