Default Coil overs causing clunking noise

I installed Fortune Auto 500 Coil overs this past Monday and have had a clank on one corner. Nothing is loose everything’s tight and greased properly. Could it be I need new End links or the shock in the coil overs is bad?

Which corner?

When does it clank? Start of a bump, end of a bump, hard turn, quick swerve?

While parked, can you make it happen via manually pushing / bouncing/ rocking the car or the wheel?

Are your spring preloads for sure correct?

Any signs of wheel bearing failure?

Front passenger side, at the end of the bump. And no I can’t make it happen while parked. There’s no signs of damage or wear and tear. No wheel bearing failure that I can see

Could be your end links are too loose. Mine was clunking in the rear after installing lowering springs and a sway bar. Turns out I didn't tighten my endlinks to the sway bar tight enough. Didn't make a noise when I pushed up and down on each corner, only did it when going over speed bumps and accelerating and braking lightly in a parking lot. Hope this helps!

It’s not the strut nut and I double checked the end links they are both tight

Are the bushings tweaked? That can cause a clunk too.

Disconnect one end link to remove tension from the bar and see if it goes away. If not check top nut torque (36-40ft/lbs is typical) and also the top mount bearing to see if it has any vertical play.

We found the issue, the shock is bad, so they will be sending me a new one. As the shock goes down it makes no noise but once it goes up it would bottom out for no resistance to lift.
