Since there are anti-smoking and anti-marijuana ads... why no anti-drinking ads?

Seriously, just in the interest of fairness. We have the smoking commercials talking about how it will give you cancer, cause you to lose your voicebox, kill you, etc. Then there are the marijuana commercials that talk about leaving your friends at a party, having someone draw on your face, leaving a silly number of voicemails on your ex-girlfriend's phone, etc.

So why not one about alcohol too? Let it tell kids about how you'll get drunk and puke your guts out, pass out and have your friends draw on your face or shave your head, get into fights with random strangers because they looked at you funny during your drunken stupor, have sex with fat bitches who'll give you herpes, and get into a wreck and kill a family coming home from watching March of the Penguins.

Why sober people don't propaganda commercial?

Theres only 1 way to get drunk, that would be alcohol.

Theres many ways to get high.

alchy= socially accepted. Cigs are frowned upon by most of the US. There are also other political reasons why alchy is not banned. See prohibition era.

Yeah but I want to see one of those "Above the influence commercials"

First scene would have a guy missing an eyebrow with a penis drawn on his cheek. "I passed out and my friends did this to me"
Second scene is a guy lying in bed trying to free his arm from under a 300lb woman. "Oh my god... oh my god... oh my god... what the ****?!"
Third scene is a girl lying in a bathroom floor. "I just puked for the 5th time tonight. Eat your heart out Kate Moss."
Fourth scene is a guy missing a tooth with blood coming out of his nose. "Mother****er said the Eagles suck. WHAT! YOU WANT ANOTHER PIECE OF THIS!"

Wouldn't that be an awesome commercial?

The Anti-smoking campaign has a lot to do with the amount of money caring for a patient with smoking related illnesses costs the government. Maybe the insurance companies are lobbying against it also, it would make sense.
