It's 2011. If you don't know how to host and post a photo, you have no right to whine about the consequences of a very simple rule.

Default No testing waters!!!(pdx)

I would really like to see this forum follow others and stop allowing people who are just "testing waters" from posting things for sale. This is such a huge waste of peoples time, especially when they think they've found something they've been searching for. It sucks when u thi k you're buying something for a few days and then all of a sudden it's no longer for sale. It's seems like an attention getter, like " look at what I have everyone, tell me how cool it is and what a great pricepoint it's listed for" Just my two cents, topped with a little bitter dressing, if ya agree say so.

I see your point but either that person could still not sell you there item. I see testing waters as them trying to get people to pay more to get it.

You mean this one?

9. You must include a picture of the item or items you are selling. Photos must be of actual item, no stock photos allowed.

Yep... and theres a ton of ads with multiple people asking for pics. I know the mods have their hands full but I just noticed it hasnt been enforced much lately so I figured id be the squeaky wheel about it. I think its a great rule, a pic is worth a thousand words.

Still a ton of threads with no pics in for sale section. I think we need to make people watch a tutorial on how to post a picture before they can make for sale threads.

You do realise that we do not read every thread, right? If you see something that needs attention please use the "report post" feature (triangle with ! in it) so myself or one of the other mods can take care of it.

Thanks!

Been talking with some people about getting a "stolen vehicle Sticky" made. All stolen car posts can be placed in here so we can more easily check on what cars to keep an eye out for. We've had a very high amount of thefts lately.

Default Add "Show all" to the list of thread filters...

Once you select a filter from the list you can never see all the threads again, i.e. both with and w/o a prefix.

True, there aren't many w/o prefixes, but it seems likely to be a simple mod.

I'm hardly ever at my desktop so Mobile app for nasioc is best I get day to day. Upload of photos via Mobile app into a message or post would be a huge help vs going to another site to upload a photo to get a url to then post that into the forum. I'm not a programmer but the app is awesome and this would be icing on the cake and help make my lazy a**, even lazier
Cheers

there should be a separate thread or sticky thread just for "want to buy" classifieds. it's annoying to scroll through the for sales/trades and see the things people are selling and then come across someone who is looking to buy something you just saw for sale like 3 threads before it. just a thought.

There are several "garage sale" type for sale ads up right now that have up for over a month (one nearly a year) that have been bumped daily and clog up the top of the classifieds. Can we have an expiration date on threads? The ads are useless.....the title says nothing abiut what's actually listed and I don't care about the 23 items that have been sold only to scroll down and the only thing that's remaining is a stock front sway bar

Is there a way to clean up or fix the trunk swap sticky. It's been like this for over 3 years. Maybe if there is a trunk swap sticky for each chapter we can stop getting ads from Florida or New York.
