Question RCE yellows or swift spec r springs??

I will be getting some Tokico D-Spec's for my 2000 Impreza RS. I will be doing to occasional track day on these. What do you recommend?

Spring rates??

Also Do they even make these to fit the GC8 chassis? I can't seem to find the RCE's for GC* anywhere ???

RCE doesn't make any springs specifically for the GC chassis. They are designed for the 04+ STi.

nah......we actually were able to produce a coilover for the GC8 body but for some reason no one had interest in a lowering/performance spring. We did gauge interest about a year ago.

No....he said he couldn't get enough interest in it. They do have RCE Tarmac 2 coilovers available for GC Impreza though.

Swift doesn't make the spec R for the GC8 either, only the regular sport spring: http://www.swiftsprings.com/file/ss.pdf

If you wanted to use the RCE yellow or swift you would have to redrill the upper rear holes on the frame of the car to match the 04-07 rear strut mounts. There are some who have done this. the fronts are the same.
