Any way to find out if an order is in one of the first batches or the later September one?

Shoot an e-mail with your order number to our info at killerbmotorsport and Kristie will get you an ETA on your order. I don't believe we have any orders yet for the September batch yet, but she is more in touch with that than I am. I'm just the guy who designs stuff

125wtq bump at 3500 from just an inlet is crazy.

That's insane. Probably all due to not collapsing and maintaining rigidity.

I don't understand why silicone inlets even exist. The flexibility actually makes installation harder.

That and to make the silicone inlets as rigid as possible, they are pretty thick. Plus, I did some neat stuff with the geometry to also increase the cross-sectional area as well.

Even nowhere near a level where a silicone one will collapse (stage 1 stage 2), we picked up power everywhere in the powerband.

Flow Bench testing before on car testing. Top % gain is vs OEM, bottom % gain is vs competitor.

KBM, did your competitor's inlet have metal rings within the silicone to supposedly prevent it from collapsing?

How on earth could this possibly be from just the inlet? So if rotated with same turbo they would of done something better than 125 more hp? This shakes my trust in any of these measurements. Anyone else make another 100hp with this inlet?
This would point to an issue with the original build, cause damn 125hp. I’d be skeptical if it was the inlet and a 50shot to get another 125hp.

Put it on your rotated setup, it'll make 150hp more

Reread the FB post, it's 125wtq not hp, and it's not a peak comparison, but due to the spool ramp rates being different. Changing the ramp rates can have a profound gain at the same RPM, and that figure was at its highest, but the peak gains were considerably less.

The car likely struggled because the silicone unit was deformed to begin with to some extent or more likely based on the description, deforming under higher vacuum loads. Having installed several silicone units myself, they've not always gone in without being deformed to some extent.

While these results are obviously spectacular, it's not something we'd ever tell a potential customer to expect. I think this shows a worst-case vs best case comparison. Not 'this is what this part will do for you'.

Well, kudos to Prime for knowing the issue, and to KB for producing the correct part.

They also come in a Speed Density version. No capping off the bypass valve bung.

Forum leadership left to go to Jan 6th or something. Site problems apparently can't be fixed by anyone left with a shred of authority.

Side note I can't wait to get my KB intake on! I think I need a clutch and flywheel before mod fun though...

Our Killer B Motorsport High Flow Cast Turbo Inlet can be ordered with no bypass bung, making Speed density installs even easier.

This cast aluminum inlet fits most Turbo EJ applications, and can be ordered with a variety of turbo side couplers: OEM, 3", or FP 84mm.

Hard turbo inlets have long been the preference of many Subaru enthusiasts due to the high flow rate and resistance to collapsing under vacuum, but installing them required removing the intake manifold which could take 7 hours or more. With some 3D scanning and CAD modeling we were able to design an inlet that can be installed without removing the intake manifold in most cases. This is a huge time savings. On a well maintained car with aftermarket fuel rails, a seasoned tech can get this installed in as little as an hour, not including the time it takes them to find the 10mm socket they dropped somewhere in the engine bay.

You can watch the install video here.
