I just bought a 2020 STi.


It's not the same visceral feel the 05 STi's had when they showed up (compared to the WRX anyway)... but its still great. Has all the right noises, whines, and still has the boxer rumble. I can't believe they developed that OUT of the newer WRXs!!!

Checking in!!

Been on built motor/2.5L Powertrain forums lately
I'm almost/pretty sure my cam install.....after short block install was f-dup by mechanic
Is done
After 4 T-belt installs(bc of leaking cam seals.....bc of scored cams surfaces where cam ends meet cam seals.......UGH could write a book about this crap.
No oil leaks now
Still on break-in tune.....since February
Now bc of this covid bs tuner closed
Lemme see if I can find my threads with pix.....

No oil leak
Worried about cam carriers/cap torque thou

Can't wait to get off this ***8216;break in' tune
