Default Ohlins rebuilt in Socal

I plan to go Ohlins on my WRX VA. I DD my car, canyon 2 times a months, AutoX 2-3 times a year. Does anyone running these and happen to know:
- How much do they cost to service/rebuilt?
- How often they need to be rebuilt?
- Any local shop service them?
- What is the return time?

They only need to be rebuilt if they are leaking or blown.

Really? That's super expensive, they are only around $2500 new so sounds like its not worth rebuilding. Or do you have some thing more special than the normal road and track or DFVs?

I'm Interested because I just swapped out my Whiteline coils(which dont have any rebuild support anymore) for a Set of 05-07 STi DFV Ohlins because I knew they will always have parts available.

Just wondering, where'd you pick up your Ohlins from? I still have Ohlins struts with lowering springs on my 04 sti and was thinking of switching to coils soon.

they dont make it for our cars. I talked to ohlins, and for the 5x100 subaru pattern it was made by some japanese company and then ohlins slapped their name on it. so when i asked about a rebuild, they basically told me that they couldn't do it.
BUt for the 5x114.3, they did make those and they can rebuild them

Interesting, glad I have the 5x114.3 on my GC then. Hopefully when they need rebuilding it's not
more than they cost new.
