Default 2019 Impreza Sport MPG

Thought I'd post in the Pittsburgh group because we all drive on the hills.

I've driven it for over 1,600 miles and my MPG has gone down slowly. Currently at 20.5mpg average. I would say that I drive in the city mostly, but I'm a bit shocked that it would be much lower than the advertised mpg. I've altered the air pressure without improvement. I had the dealership check it out and they were not concerned. I am though.

30 - combined city/highway
27 - city
35 - highway
3.3 gals/100 miles

How much are you all getting?

In my 09 wrx I get between 16-20 on local roads depending on how heavy my foot is, but on a trip I average about 25mpg, which my 08 N/A impreza got 29 hwy on a really good day.

Default I’m back...

What’s up fellow yinzers. I’ve been out of the Subaru scene for a long time but used to be somewhat active on here. I just bought an ‘05 WRX wagon yesterday from another local guy. I think he’s on here but I didn’t ask him what his username is. His real name is Tim...super nice guy. I swore I’d never buy another Subaru after having had three ‘03 WRX’s and an ‘04 FXT but I couldn’t resist... My 17 year old son’s Sentra blew the head gasket with only 46,xxx on the clock and he needed a replacement. I gave him my ‘08 RAV4 V6 to drive while I teach him how to drive the Subie. Once he’s proficient enough I’ll set him free with it. So if you see Tim’s beater WRX wagon around with the “BASS” and “7SP” stickers on the hatch, that’s now me driving it around.

Hey local guys, does anyone have a set of 5x100 17" wheels for sale? I killed one of my winter wheels during the last snow storm and I need to replace the set. Thanks!

Hello everyone. Bought a new Subie last month. It's just a 2.5i premium but with being new to Subaru brand, I decided to start small. Thought I'd check reliability and get some basic H4 knowledge before taking the performance route. I'm in Greensburg. Any subie friends out this way? The group seems a little dead compared to earlier forum activity.

Default Hello There

Whats up guys, after many years and slowly remodeling most of my home, I have some time to get the ride running. I may (definitely) need assistance! Drop me a PM if i can pick your brain about getting it running.

Hey, new subie owner here. Just bought my first! I'm new, the car isn't...lol
I'm over in the Johnstown area, but come to pittsburgh regularly.

I bought a 2010 impreza outback sport and so far I'm loving it with the exception of a baffling p0420 code.

Hey guys, anyone know a good place to get a VA WRX clutch replaced in the Pittsburgh Area? I already spoke to TPG, but they quoted me way more for parts than I would pay online.

At least call Green Apple Auto Works in Glenshaw. The guys there autocross and do custom alignments, install aftermarket parts, etc. Their labor is reasonably priced being a smaller shop.

Only guys I take both my WRX and BRZ to at this point.

No idea if anyone will read this, but here's the signup link for PVGP this year:
https://www.pvgp.org/car-shows/schenley/subaru/

It says they're a Subaru specific area, although I can confirm there isn't going to be the normal SOA presence, gift, or lunch. No escort either.

If you're going to PVGP, this covers your parking for two days at least.

I wonder if I’ll be able to avoid trimming the trees with my bikes this year since I won’t have to follow the escort under said trees

Are there any AWD dynos for hourly rent in the area? Looking to learn the ropes of dyno tuning. Talked to a few shops. One says they can maybe do hourly if they're not booked, another said probably not...

Road tuned many'a car at this point, just haven't really needed to tune for peak power before. With my most recent build I figured I could give it a shot.

Not looking for anyone to hold my hand, but would be nice if I could get the pros to help me on my way. Willing to pay too.
