Aftermath...YOTA FJ Blue 05 WRX
Some of you may know, my car was wrecked, when an inconsiderate woman in a lexus decided to run a stop sign on me. Anyhow, while it was down, I decided on a color change, and after a week or more of debating, and many more weeks w/o my car, here it be!
"poopey girl" decided to make a run for the neighbors house...turned out to be a new desktop pic for me! Poor babies got congunctivitas (pink-eye) front shot...the new splitters I ordered in white came with silver molding instead of black...bummer...GT-spec carbon fiber lip in the mail though! still sportin the 16x8 ce's, the new ti-gunmetal 17x8 ce's should be to me by late this week, more than likely early next...lol...been like over 4 months now! I did away with the S U B A R U and just re installed the wrx impreza...been thinking or removing it and spraying it flat black...thoughts?? my rendition of JDM'ed-ness little frontal action...the fmic and beam, bumper cover, grill, splitters, hood, and headlights were toasted...Had to reorder the kaminari hood (the broken one was 2 weeks old!!) and I scooped up on these 04 STi HIDs in the process Not long after I got the car back...like the same day...the wifey calls and tells me she traded in the 05 4 runner for this!! Its a great car, just was shocked she did it...limited all the bells and wistles And the best for last, my 2 co-drivers!!...don't worry, the oldest one gave the baby the pink eye, so shes ok Ok, let'm in, comments the good and the bad! Later Trey

lol...yeah, the color isn't for everyone, but I had narrowed it down to sonic yellow or this...WRB was too dark and too common.
Yeah, the seats aren't for everyone either, but I just go back and forth to work with it, and a long trip would be an hour drive to the track...I did take it too Houston about 6 hours, but after a previously bottom jarring trip to Gulf Shores Alabama (about 3 hours) I brought a pillow to sit on during the trek to Houston!! Any future long trips in the car will get a seat swap back to oe!! You know, I knew someone was gonna ask about the door jams, but I didn't take any...they look great, same color as the car, moldings and plastic parts were removed prior to spraying...I'll take a pic later the please the really curious! The girls were not in the car, I was on my way to work on a Satureday morning when it happened. Thanks guys Trey |

Its FJ blue or a very close mix...it does not photo well, or I shouldn't say well, it just doesn't photo the same as it looks in person.
Yeah, not many 04/05 kaminari hoods round...made to order...hell, this is my second one after the wreck! Trey |

The blue doesn't work with those wheels. I don't hate the color it just doesn't look right as is. Maybe paint the hood and drop the car along with adding some white wheels?

that's AWESOME! but i agree with matt... paint the hood drop it on the ground and get some chrome gramlights or white works.
also, graduate. 16"s don't look right on the peanut eye. get 18"s. avalons are MAD nice. get her to do it up VIP style with huge negative camber dubs. |
