Default Official N.FTW Dinner Thread!

This is where we will post the WEEKLY dinner meets. For the special events and TXIC Grapevine meets, they will have their own threads.

For those who are wondering about these meets:

This is not a RiceKiller/Starbucks/HIN/etc. style meet!!!! It's just a gtg where we eat, talk about Subarus, and just hang out. Some people may call it boring since we don't do burnouts or race, but we prefer to call it a nice break in the middle of the week.

So hopefully this thread will be around for a while. Make sure you check the latest post for future locations or time!

I thought that we already established that Chipotle was going to be the official meeting spot? I guess if they want to go to Cabana that will be fine.

OK, last night I got bashed pretty hard about my car being at stock height. "Is your car lifted"(SilverSpool). And this became a heat debate about which set of springs I should get that will make my car's suspension preform BETTER. Things go back and forth about which set up is better and what I should do.

I took a TEST ride in SilverSpool's car and I really liked the ride and the stance of the car. Davidss's car was not there so I did not get to take a ride in that.

I am not tring to take side and say that SilverSpool's car handles better with out taking a ride in Davidss's car. But what I am looking for is something that will ride good, make my car have a more aggresive look to it, and something that will handle well when I want to go fast through the curves. To be honest I am really not a Auto X type of guy and I will probably never do anything like that. Like I said I want something that will ride good, add an aggresive look to it, and preform when it is called upon.

Sorry for getting this all started I should have mentioned that before the debate got to HEATED.

But if you have any suggestions on what springs I should get; Let me know.

Thanks!!

I like my S-Tech's. Maybe when I decide to join the meets again I'll let you take a ride in it.

nothing is heated, we all just want to help you make the right decision, and like i said before, ride in as many cars as you can to get a feel for it, springs arenty the only thing i have done, but ofcourse, im not going to bash my own ride, nor is anyone else, ride and develop your own opinions, dont know who to ride along with? Just ask.

Yeah...I'm real sensitive.

I like my H-Techs (Tein). Great ride, without being too low, and handles well in the curves. I also have Cusco rear sway and strut bars so that helps too. Prodrive springs are also great from what I hear.

Like Dave said, don't take anything we say too serious. We're just messing around. BTW, just disregard anything that Dave says. He has an Edipus Complex.
