Little update: Drove the car today with the new tires. Rubs a little in the rear. So I’m going to raise it up a smidge. The sidewall on the PS4S are much stiffer than my previous tires, so I’m going to dial the dampening back a little to counterbalance the added stiffness. Much quieter tires than the previous ones. Also, Swaintech does medical equipment in addition to automotive coatings. With that being said, they are no longer 4-5 weeks turnaround time. Going to be much longer I’m afraid. But I’d rather wait now before it’s installed than have 4-5 weeks downtime on my car when the world is back to normal. R/T is going to reach out this week for an updated turnaround time. |

Whelp, not happy with the new ride height (no surprise there), so ordered a set of RacerX Fabrication Rear Upper Control Arms to bring the top of the wheel/tire in a bit more. Also going to order FEAL Adjustable Bump Stops to set limits on my compression and prevent rubbing during hard bumps/dips (as opposed to running a stiffer spring). Hoping to dial the alignment in to the numbers I want without any rub and at about a one finger gap all around.
Good news! Swaintech is coating my uppipe today or tomorrow. So we are moving forward with scheduling the motor/rotated turbo build to begin the week of April 27th. So only a few weeks later than originally scheduled. I'm stoked!. |

Racer X Fabrication Rear Upper Control Arms ordered:
These should allow us to adjust the top of the wheel/tire in conjunction with the lower adjustments we get from the Cusco LCA's I currently run so we can fine tune the camber AND poke at the same time. Also going to be adding FEAL Adjustable Bump Stops as a fail proof system to prevent any future rubbing in the rear: Here's a video of how they work: |

And a shoutout to CJ for pointing me in the right direction of the RacerX RUCA's. Good news! Swain Tech finished the uppipe and R/T Tuning has it back already. So we are a go for April 27th And a shot of the Tomei Expreme UEL Headers Swain Tech White Lightning Coated as well: Last edited by QwaktastiK; 04-14-2020 at 01:55 PM. |

Getting all the fine details ironed out for Monday's install appointment.
Since I'm going to be Speed Density tuned, I can run a vent to atmosphere BOV in place of the built-in BOV that comes with the EFR turbos. Full-Race sells Turbosmart's block-off plate, so I just ordered that: HKS released a Black Edition of their SSQV BOV, so I'll be running that instead of the built-in BOV: |

RacerX Rear Upper Control Arms are in, as are the FEAL Adjustable Bump Stops.
Just needs an alignment and then the build can begin. |

Sadly no. R/T had a build they were finishing up before mine that ran long with some issues that needed ironing out. So my car got push back by two weeks. I keep watching their IG posts and stories like a hawk hoping for a sneak peek of my car, even if just in the background. Nothing

While I don't have my car, and I'm not working, I might as well be spending money, right? Lol
I've been torn with how to take my engine dress up. My favorite engine bay by far is Lancaster's OEM+ rotated FMIC setup. I don't think I could pull off such a clean look with my setup, so I'm taking it a different direction. Borrowing some inspiration from @eddienuffsaid, I'm planning to dress my engine bay up with carbon fiber. Here's a few parts to keep the interest going: Password JDM dry carbon fiber battery cover Password JDM dry carbon fuse box cover Password JDM dry carbon fiber ABS cover APR carbon fiber radiator shroud cooling plate Prova carbon fiber intake duct ARC tribute titanium alternator cover By WC Lathe Werks powder coated black Dress Up Bolts Blue anodized engine bay kit I'm also having custom engine caps made by Renegade Motorsports in anodized black, machine engraved Last edited by QwaktastiK; 05-28-2020 at 05:25 PM. |

Little update, R/T Tuning has talked me into doing GSC Stage 2 cams. My goal with all of my mods is to not affect spool in any negative way, And i was originally under the impression cams were going to just shift my powerband to the right. After some discussion with them, Lancaster and some quick research, I’m convinced it won’t. Sounds like GSC Stage 2 cams are the perfect midrange cams that both help spool and allow us to push the redline from 7k to closer to 8k rpms. So we’re adding them while the motor is out. |

I don't like chassis rubbing either so it looks like I may jump to FEAL suspension myself. Was going to hold out for a set of OHLINS but that ABS is really cool.
as for cams, what were your list of choices when purchasing? |
