I bought only k&n air filter (33-2304) and going to a Tune.

Milleage: ~25 000 miles
93 octane ( ORLEN PB 98)

First run:
280,5 HP (KM) @5858 RPM
385,5 Nm ( 284,23 lb/ft) @3120 RPM

After tune it was:
304,2 HP (KM) @5693 RPM
455,7 Nm ( 335,99 lb/ft) @4058 RPM

It was big difference.

About one month ago i decided for jpipe (down pipe) change. I choosed catless version, and got Retune:
325 HP (KM) @5652 RPM
498 Nm ( 367,18 lb/ft) @2917 RPM

It was amazing but unfortunately after only 9 days something's going wrong, and i could see the crank through the destroyed engine block.
I had to use a fire extinguisher...

Do you have any idea what went wrong?
Hello ***9996;***65039;

I have a new engine already inside my WRX.
I was on Retune from that killer soft...

303,5 HP@5497 RPM
432 Nm (318,52 lb/ft) @4054 RPM

now is very safe - i think so...

I didn't think a HPFP was needed at those kind of power levels. Are you planning on going bigger in the future?

I currently don't need the HPFP but I wanted to run full E85 just because there are plenty of stations around me. But not pushing it more until I build the motor.

You guys are lucky down there that you have E on tap. We have to buy it by the drum up here, and it's over $3/gallon. lol.

Dannnng. We were at $2.45/gal a couple weeks ago and I learned that we can buy it at the pump at Sierra Fuel. It's an old school pump too so you just pump the gas and then show the attendant how many gallons you put in. Still gonna get a drum when they get some more in, just for convenience sake.
