Default Shop recommendation for extensive labor

Where do you take your fa20dit to for extensive labor in Socal area? I love to know a few shops that love modding this engine and I can actually chat with them and ask for suggestion.

Is it too much to ask from a car shop lol?

Thank you for any info.

One of the "best" tuners for this platform is located in Socal (Anaheim).. Ron @ Phatbotti Tuning.

However, he's only a tuner. He doesn't do full builds. Regardless of where you have the work done, I recommend having him tune your car. Just shoot him an email and he'll gladly give part recommendations. He can probably recommend a local shop as well.

He even has some info on his site to get you started:

Take a day off. Don't choose a shop based on their schedule!

Then look into AntSpec, which is the former Cobb tuning store. They are over in Fountain Valley, and usually open on saturday with limited hours.

I've worked with Ronnie at Antspec but only to get my car tuned. They're pretty cools guys but they can have busy moments where they're a bit tough to get a hold of.
