Default Detailing in an Apartment Complex

So while I'm forced to WFH, this has the unfortunate side effect of causing me to lose contact with the detailer than visits us at work, so my car is in dire need of a bath at this point. Since I'm also in an apartment complex, what kind of product(s) should I use so I'm not making a giant mess as the usual soap and water routine isn't really feasible here (I have no idea where a water connection is so no hose, no flowing water).

Any advice/product recommendations so I can give my WRX a much needed bath?

When I lived in an apartment, I had super long hoses that would give me water from my third level bathroom to the parking lot below.
Anyways, what you can do is maybe bring a bucket, wash mitt, drying towels, and car shampoo to a self service wash bay and wash it that way.

Go waterless wash. I mean if you have salt still under the car you'll want to wash that off, but if just grit, no need for hose unless you got caked on mud.

I use Griot's SprayOn CarWash in my garage often before using QD. You can find others online. Buy a lot of plush MF towels and use both product and towels liberally and you won't induce swirls. GL. I wipe in one top to bottom vertical one way motion, never re-apply the dirty part of the towel, and never in circular motion when removing grit.

Agreed = Waterless Wash

You'll need about 4/5 MF Towels + a WW Product.

Typically most Autoparts stores carry Griots Garage - their waterless wash is good:
Spay On Car Wash

If you can wait for shipping - AutoGeek.net has many more options - I prefer:
Wolgang Uber Rinseless - I use it during the winter when hoses freeze and you can't really coat the driveway in water - works great!

There's a few routes actually. Rule of thumb is as water goes down microfiber towels goes up. Expect to need 10-20 depending on the process you're using. 300 gsm towels from The Rag Company or Microfiber Madness are great for this.

Ammo Frothe with a foamer is really good, just follow up with a quick detailer behind it.

ONR is another option and can be used as a waterless or rinseless wash.

Fold your towels into quarters. Work a single panel at a time, use straight lines, and roll your towel to keep the leading edge from building up too much grit and scratching the paint.

There's lots of great videos posted by detailers on how to, AMMO NYC and Pan The Organizer are on the short list to watch.

Are there any self service washes near you? It should only be a few bucks, and depending on how dirty your car is it might be worth going to one to get the wash started. Then once you have a good base you can do the water free detailing at the complex. It'll be easier to do water free washes in the future too if the car doesn't get too dirty.
