Imagine a special turbo that spools up and some kind of technology holds onto that pressure in some kind of air tank and you press the button its sends out the boost. Like a nitrous button hahah

Volvo (iirc) uses a similar idea except its an air pump that builds pressure in a tank and releases it into the exhaust pre-turbo to kick the turbo up sooner.

yeah its going to be a game changer. I think there will be no need for small turbos anymore. imean why put a gtx28 when you can have the power of a 35r and immediate spool but i fugure they are going to be seriously expensive when they first come out

The application will be very limited. There will be no need for large turbos on production cars unless its some high end marked up model which very little of us can afford, and for the people like us, they will be very expansive which again, very little of us can afford.
