I want a more secure way to store my bags (not out in the open and exposed to the sun) and also better aero for the long roadtrips.

I have a Yakima and 1000% recommend it, held up great for years. My only issue is I wish I would have a longer one for more stuff to fit.

We have a huge one that was bought years ago. I can throw snowboards in it. The problem is I can't open the hatch on the WRX because the wing hits!

I get 40% off Yakima. I considered one for the Corolla and MINI, but why bother when I can just take the 4Runner?

Now Rivian has issued an update to reservation holders with a clear timeline:

- R1T deliveries will begin June 2021
- R1S deliveries will begin August 2021

The automaker says that it feels comfortable announcing the timeline after officially running its pilot production line this week
Just in case anyone was holding their breath for them. Cybertruck will ship around the same time! I have little faith that the Badger will ever ship.

Oh I ****ing love that.

Wife was not into it, despite the most appropriate RV name ever.

Even the 5 year old is getting into the “let’s tow something!” spirit.

I miss my Tesla. I think I’ll buy it back

.

.

Nah, just kidding. It is funny to walk into the garage and see the relatively hulking (but just 192.5” length as it’s a 100) Land Cruiser in its spot, though.

I hope it's just the photo quality keeping me from seeing the glitter metal flake.

Can't imagine it's comfy with much in a big crosswind. Smaller personal stuff would be choice.

That was about 15 mo.

https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/thre...denver.190675/

I'd certainly mused about flipping it earlier, but resale value was constantly eroded by the new-identical ones getting cheaper.

Even though it'd been less depreciation per month if I'd held onto it longer, the absolute value of depreciation would have been greater. I'm 100% ok with letting it go when I did for its final sale price.

Got the PacHy detailed today, and it is shiny indeed now. Having it all spiffed up inside and out really changes one's perception of it. Even the leather on the steering wheel feels more supple now.

Denver locals: Arapahoe Collision and Mechanical does a consistently excellent job. The owner recognized me even with my mask, and remembered detailing the Land Cruiser before.

That’s nice if you never let the kids back in it.

The only "detailing" my Odyssey sees is when the 10yo gets too disgusted with how bad the back is and cleans it for me.

Well, then I get to redo the front windows to get rid of the streaks.
