Yeah Trump absolutely turned his back on 2A in regards to the HPA, well, in regards to anything 2A related. The firearms community had great hopes for a R pres and R majority to get some things done, force California to be more in line with federal laws, and get the HPA through, or at least put some measures in place to prevent the D from completely destroying our 2A rights when they get in power, but he has done absolutely nothing to that end.

Worthless just like all of them have been.

I need to get a can that can do 9mm and 300bo

9mm for my AR pistol and 300BO for my feral hog gun that no one will take me out hunting with because it doesn't have a can.

Nice. I love my P320s. High bore axis be damned, I shoot them really well.

its the newest handgun i own, its a compact, and i shoot it better than any other handgun i own. It is just so easy to shoot well. i LOVE it. I carry it now over my lc9s because of the round count and the fact that i know i can hit my target within 25 yards

I just installed a set of XS Big Dot sights on my G19. Let's see if that helps my accuracy and allows me to enjoy shooting with my old ****ty failing eyes before I have to go the expensive red dot route.

I love my XFive. I'm still anticipating the bang though and throwing them low. Pretty damn good grouping though- I was just plinking at 7yds and put a bunch in a half dollar sized hole. Not sure how many exactly because the middle was clean. Gonna have to do some dummy round drills to try to break my bad habit. I'm gonna play with it on Wednesday when I go to the range.

Also gonna go throw down some cash on the new G45 as soon as I figure out which dealer is Blue Label around here. I may have to just buy it online and get it sent to a FFL, but I don't have a guy yet. I'll have to ask around at work.

AR 180 uh? That's pretty neat! I love cold war era rifles.

Looks like 2019 will have me shopping for gun safes. My current locker is over capacity.

I need to buy one. Other priorities right now though.

Hopefully next year I'll be getting at least a cheapy. If not a Sturdy.

So my Les Baer custom carry started getting a bit of rust and putting on the slide.

So I had it fixed!

Does anyone happen to have one of these HiViz Shotgun sights? That isn't mounted on a Stoeger/Benelli? That happens to have the extra screw for the Stoeger/Benelli? My screw broke and I'm having a hard time finding a new one.

If you know or can figure out screw size and thread pitch, McMaster Carr has every conceivable screw on the planet.

I went to the range this morning and sadly the answer to the above statement is 'No'.

Lot of times the manufacturer will do you a solid. Have you contacted HiViz?

I'm not sure the big dots are really good for accuracy. Have you tried a fiber optic front sight? Maybe one of the ameri-glo ghost ring sights for glocks?

No not yet, I was going to tomorrow morning. Just hoping someone has one they don't need. The thread pitch is M2.6 so I can find one but shipping for a tiny screw will be dumb.

Very true, but I've read online where a few older guys said the Big Dots at least helped them look past the rear sight and see more of the front where standard sights are all mush. In my case the Big Dots are somewhat better but still mush.

And by 'accuracy' I just mean being able to reliably hit the inside 8" or so of an 18" target at seven yards. Pretty sad.

Consider looking up those ghost ring pistol sights.

Are you struggling with sight acquisition? I thought Trijicon HD sights were real easy to pick up, but I have corrected 20/20 vision.

so, i just noticed this on my optimus. i went to the range and used it on my 308 then my 300 blk with factory s&b 200g subs. after that i ran 2 handloaded subs through it. i dont see anything on the rest of the baffle stack, just this rifle blast baffle. i cant imagine my 2 handloads would leave 3 marks, but who knows. it does get mounted to a 3 prong flash hider. ill hit it with copper solvent and see if its copper, maybe it just doesnt build carbon up there.

edit: its not copper, just spots that dont accumulate carbon.

I've got a 16" AR with a CTR stock right now. I don't particularly care for it on this rifle, it's probably too light compared to the front of the rifle and the cheek rest is kinda meh, too.

Will probably replace it with something a tad bit more substantial.

Opinions on the EMOD vs ACS?

VLTOR EMOD

Magpul ACS

or is it worthwhile to pony up for a Magpul UBR?

I have a beard, so the Vltor is a no go for me.

I like the ACS, but prefer the UBR if I'm not getting a PRS.
