How big of a fireball do you want? Yuge? 7.5. Or just Bigly? 10.5.

I'm reconsidering building the pistol and, instead, build a lower for my 14.5 (need to have it pinned and welded). I'll work on upgrading my SBR. What aftermarket trigger would be recommended? I've only ever used the stock mil-spec triggers that come with most LPKs. This is mostly a range gun (some carbine classes), but is setup as a home defense gun as well.

Geissele SSA or if you want a little cheaper, go with ALG ACT.

There's also the CMC Lantac ECT which can be had around $100 since they are discontinued. I love my CMC 3.5 lb just as much as my Geissele SSA-E

I have multiple Geissele triggers and they are better, but they are all $200+. The MBT is very nice for its current price of $87.

I don't get the allure of two stage triggers. And I've shot a lot of supposedly really nice ones.

I am toying with putting a Geissele SD3-G in my 14.5 and either the SSA or SD-C in my 11.5 SBR.

I suppose it depends on what you like. Personally I don't like super light single stage triggers. I like being able to put my finger on the trigger and have a little take up before the shot goes off in anything that involves moving and shooting (except wing shooting). It's not usually the greatest for accuracy though.

Has anyone got experience with the Vedder Lighttuck holster? I have been using a sticky holster for my XDE and would like something more secure.

I put a deposit on a thing today.
Decided to splurge and put a deposit down on a P320 X-Five since I likely won't be carrying for a while. I figured that it was a solid choice since I want to get into the competition side of things plus every review I read says it's pretty sweet. Put it in my hand and that was it. Got a pretty good deal on it too. |

Congrats! Get the 6 MOA romeo1 for it, springer guide rod and a Wolff extended 1911 spring in the thinnest wire. Trim to 40 coils and see if it fits. You’ll probably end up at 35-6 coils for perfection. Add a full GG comp setup and you’ll be complete. Oh. Don’t forget springer base pads w grams guts on a 17 round mag for 23 in the gun.

I tried some mpro-7 copper solvent tonight. It worked very well compared to the hoppes i thought was doing a good job before.

I have been trying to be good but I could not pass on this package (you heard me). This will be my first foray into SBRs in Illinois.

Don't buy the Korean magazines if you need more. (Given your picture I doubt you'll need more) They don't lock up in my Zenith. I tested a few HK mags and they work fine. The magazine release stamping in the Korean mags is low compared to the HK.
