Default Stock '06 STI not hitting target boost

Your DAM is at 0, that needs to be at 16. Your motor is knocking, a lot. Stop taking it into boost and bring it to a shop that can properly diagnose it, immediately.

Update: A shop owner wouldn't even let me come in and waste his time after he saw the data. He just had me replace the MAF and re-tighten hoses and it was golden.

Default Resolved!

Next time your DAM is reading 0 and your motor is knocking just keep boosting it. I bet the shop owner will open the door when you show up with a spun bearing or broken piston ;-)

you might consider not deleting your initial message in the future - one of the strengths of boards like this is you can search for problems, and see if someone has had a similar issue as you, and how they fixed it.

Sounds like that shop owner just saved you a chunk of cash on the labor by just telling you what to do, and you're good to go.

If that's the case then you've got an honest shop owner on your hands so do him a solid and give him a fair shot at future jobs.
